What are you having for breakfast?

I had a scoop of rice protein powder mixed into a cholesterol-lowering yoghurt drink and 2 tbsp kefir immediately after training.

Then an hour later, 250g Skyr topped with 100g of blueberries and 'black forest' fruit (blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries, morello cherries).

2 cups of Peruvian coffee with oat milk.

OMFG, never had overnight oats before and never fancied a chocolate brekky either, but fuck me this was sooooo good! Uses cocoa powder so is still righteous :D Also had maple syrup and a few dark choc chips too, plus Skyr and oat milk. Nom fucking nom! Really filling too.

I had a full English at work, Friday treat.

As it happens I started to feel a little queasy towards the end so I left some beans and a bit of sausage and bacon.

Managed to find some of these exotic things from that mythical land called the midlands. Will have to think what I'm going to do with them now. :hmm:
Fry up some mushrooms in a pan that’s a similar circumference to an oatcake*. While they are frying, cut some cheese and lay it on top of one oatcake. When they are ready, tip the mushrooms on top of the cheese. Use a second oatcake as a lid, making an oatcake-cheese-mushrooms-oatcake sandwich. Put the sandwich back into the pan and fry it on each side until browned and the cheese has melted. Serve.

*staffs variety.

Ta. Got two punnets of chestnut mushrooms in that need using so can do that. :)

Phwoar 😃

Today I had avocado on toast. The avo had a little smoked salt, a grind of pepper, and a pinch or two of chilli flakes. The toast had a splash of Spanish DOC olive oil on it. Washed down with a cappuccino. Perfect start to the day.
