Derek Carr's Arrival would have been on my list if I did one. Superb album that I've canned to death....

I also went to see them recently - was very impressed. I like their new singer/flautist.

Expected it to be a Madchester-esque throwback gig, with a crowd full of middle-aged, fat, bald guys. And, well, the crowd prediction was true, but the music was fresh

Is it just me or is 'Ross From Friends' one of the worst band names of all time?

It's at one end of the spectrum or the other, depending on my mood. It's either genius, or terrible.

I think it's just one bloke too, from Brightlingsea in Essex, I believe.
