Traitors '25 Starts 1/1/25 8pm

Yes, she was fine for the duration of the show. But I'd hate to spend an evening with her!
When she she mentioned the podcast I automatically thought of her being a guest on Jameela Jamil’s one as they’re both rather effusively garrulous, and wondering whether whether they’d get on like the metaphorical house on fire or an actual one (screams, shouts, terror etc). ;) Don’t get me wrong, I genuinely like Jameela and could envisage myself going for a drink with her. But I also acknowledge finding her annoying at times and therefore needing a degree of benevolent acceptance. :D

Watched EP1-3....Thoughts!

-The one person has to get off the carriage beginning. I immediately shouted No One Go! What are the producers going to do about it if that happens? Unity is strength etc. Turns out Nathan (now booted off) was saying just this! Good man! It was however brought up later as a reason by some muppet to kick him off, I forget by who, which goes to show how deep counter revolutionary sentiments have seeped into our culture! ;)
People follow orders too readily. It turns out getting off the train was maybe an advantage, but anyhow.

-Jake picking up on Linda turning her head when Traitors was called out was the best bit of detective work I've seen in the programme in all series. He deserves to win just for that. And he's kept Linda's card marked since. If only there was more of this kind of thing in the show. I like him - I liked him being livid for getting off the boat too, I could relate to that!

-Was nice to see Livi feeling bad for leading the mob on Elen (RIP). Livi got on one at breakfast over nothing but air and by the end of the day Elen was gone. She felt genuinely bad <good. Nice to see contrition for this kind of behaviour.
Reminded me of my favourite Traitors moment, boxer Deontay who decided he knew who a traitor was, voted them off, was proved wrong and walked off the show as he couldnt handle the injustice he dished out! What a legend

it makes me laugh how at the round table the contestants nominate to banish someone and say 'sorry mate I think you're a traitor but I really hope I'm wrong because you're a top bloke' etc. lol, so they want to wrongfully banish a faithful rather than have somebody who's nice be a traitor!?

It's very British. "No offense mate but....", "Don't mean to be funny it's just....."; "You're a top bloke but....."

I've worked in NHS admin for a decade, it's basically the second language here amongst women of a cert.....well, you know what I mean.

Not very helpful responses so far!
Work people seem obsessed with it but they are also obsessed with anything on telly
Is it something you can dip into or do you have to start at the beginning?

Definitely start at the beginning.

Just watch the first episode. You'll either bin it or become obsessed with it.

What’s the premise of the show? Is it a game show or a reality show?
It’s a social psychological game show. A bit like a murder mystery weekend, a group of - initially 25 - people go to a castle in the Scottish Highlands. Secretly, three are chosen to be Traitors. The rest are Faithfuls. The Faithfuls don’t know who the Traitors are. The Traitors get to “murder” a Faithful each night (with some exceptions, small print revealed at intervals), and each night (usually) the whole group get together to accuse and vote off who they think is a Traitor (one at a time).

If there are only Faithfuls at the end, the remaining contestants win the prize pot. But if there is even just one Traitor, all the money goes to them.

Watch episode one of series three. If you don’t like it, stop watching.

Thank you danny la rouge
Sounds mean. I’m out but kinda was already as iplayer seems to indicate that Winkelmuppet presents all three series and that’s a deal breaker. She reminds me of Bob Monkhouse. Probably lovely but a tad oleaginous to be tolerated on my screen for long.

I like her. But yeah, she’s a feature, and if you don’t like her, then that’ll be a bummer for you.

I'm not sure I've seen her in anything else, TBH. She's fine in this, and in this season she seems to be hardly there. Which is a shame, as I loved her face being gradually hidden more and more by both fringe and jumpers last season.

But her coming across as not oily to me doesn't mean she won't to you. I'm not entirely taking the piss when I say that what I like tends to not be what you like, TV-wise.

It's also very much a group-watching show, to me. Watching it with your partner/family/flatmates, etc, or watching alone and posting on here in real time or not long after it airs. And not taking it too seriously while at the same time analysing everything.

She's not on screen a lot. I've found some of the hosts from other countries versions annoying, but that hasn't really detracted from my enjoyment, because it's all about the stupidity and scheming of the contestants, not the host.
