As part of the Republican Party’s efforts to institute Islamophobia into public policy, terrorism will only be referred to as “radical Islam.” This is a clear strategy by the Trump regime that provides false justification to the Muslim ban that affects one of every eight Muslims worldwide from seven countries whose residents have never committed an act of terror on American soil.


Removing the white supremacist and violent extremist groups from federal tracking programs is an obvious power play by the Bannon regime to encourage racial hate and religious discrimination.

Christ. :(

Truly this Bannon is dangerous.

Where are all the killer leaked documents on Trump? He must have so many skeletons, apart from anything he's a casino operator from New Jersey so there must be endless dodgy stuff just from associations/ pay offs there. Just seems odd that with so many enemies I thought there would be more well evidenced very damaging stuff of corruption and criminality coming out from hackers, people he's fucked over etc

I don't know what they are going to do with the next annual US report on "Radical Islam" the last report on global Terrorism I read dwelt rather a lot on separatist groups. RIRA, CIRA, ETA, the PKK etc. There's a pretty big Maoist insurgency in parts of India. The Farc and groups akin to Sendero Luminoso are still active. Some Mexican drug cartels pretty much fit the definition of political terrorists. Terrorism isn't ever likely to be restricted to Muslims.

There is an excellent piece of investigative journalism on the older Trump thread outlining his connections to the Mob. On my phone atm otherwise would provide a link.

E2a still didn't stop him getting elected though.

In Trumps America it can, though no doubt some efforts will be made to identify 'Mexican terrorists'

One U.S. defense official, speaking with Foreign Policy on the condition of anonymity, said the Pentagon has long been anticipating an uptick in Russian aggression in Ukraine as Moscow tries to gauge “what they could accomplish” under the Trump administration.

The new fighting, and reports Wednesday that a Ukrainian transport plane was struck by Russian ground fire, indicates that “the Russians are not ready to make any peaceful gestures on the ground,” said Alexander Vershbow, until late last year deputy secretary general of NATO.

The Kremlin, he said, “may be trying to test the new administration to see if they distance themselves from Kiev, and tell [Ukrainian president] Petro Poroshenko that he has to make the best deal with Russia, which of course would destroy him politically.”

Asked Wednesday if the administration views the renewed fighting as a direct challenge from Russia, White House spokesman Sean Spicer said, “We’re keeping an eye on the situation in Ukraine.” Earlier, the State Department released a statement condemning the violation of the 2014 cease-fire in Ukraine that managed to avoid mentioning Russia at all.

The U.N. Security Council on Tuesday expressed its “grave concern” over the “dangerous deterioration” in eastern Ukraine and called for a halt to the violence by both sides.

Only to be expected. Putin is from a rather harder "grab them by the pussy" school of diplomacy than Trump.

Trump could occupy the first say 20 miles of Mexico to act as a buffer zone for the protection of the US. Mexico has a hard job keeping this place under control at the best of times, so will probably be secretly pleased. Guerilla warfare from the bad Hombres in this comfort zone ( the Zeta special forces lot who seem to run much of the cross border traffic). Not so far to transport the body bags back to the USA either.
