The New Tories - Ruthlessly Incompetent. Post Examples of Tory Stupidity Here

they are fucking batshit arent they? I mean - this wont come to anything - its the headbanger, trussite goons and their mates at GB News shit flinging and hoping it will build some momentum. Who knows? - come a tory wipe out in the may council elections it might promt enough letters to go in to trigger a leadership election that sunak will win farly comfortably - but will only further cement their image in the eyes of the eletorate as incompetent, chaotic and utterly unfit to be in government.

Priti Patel, no fan of Rishi Sunak, has tweeted:

"At this critical time for our country, with challenges at home and abroad, our party must focus on the people we serve and deliver for the country. Engaging in facile and divisive self indulgence only serves our opponents, it’s time to unite and get on with the job."

I've often wondered why this winter my SAD hasn't kicked in as intense as it usually does - especially after Christmas where its usually particularly bad - anyway, I've been putting it down to 'better' mental health generally, or listening to more music more often, or just ain and simple being more 'busy' then I have been in the past (two kids under five will probably do that to be fair), but I can't ignore the elephant in the room:

Watching the Tory Party, who - through policy and ideology - have been unrelenting in their attacks on me, my friends, colleagues, and the most vulnerable people in society, slowly and constantly try and kill itself genuinely makes me so fucking happy.

Fuck those blood sucking cunts, let them be destroyed by their own hate, but most of all let them be destroyed by their own hubris. Cunts, the lot of them.

Like Badenoch, she needs Sunak to own the election defeat, which can be blamed on his failure to be a true conservative, making the leadership a better prize which is easier to defend.

The only way any rebellion gets to 52 letters is with the votes of MPs who are frightened above all else of losing their seats to a Reform-Lab pincer. An orchestrated plot with a high-profile ringleader is as unlikely as an actual VOC defeat.

Urban, you'll know, is the story that the necklace Lizz Truss is wearing in this photo (and many others) a sign for a sub in the BDSM community, true?

(Will delete in lue of eye bleach of required.)

The amount of coverage the BBC have been giving to her Johnson is an "incompetent fucking clown" comment is hilarious.

Most of the country thought he was an incompetent fucking clown, and still is.

I am tempted to write to Points of View with this observation.

Well this is possibly a unique contribution to this thread but I couldn't think where else to put it: one of the few government actions I've agreed with. Who the fuck did the oil companies pay to pass this in the first place?

The treaty allows fossil fuel investors to sue states for lost profit expectations in an opaque corporate arbitration system set up to protect fossil fuel investors in the former Soviet economies in the 1990s.
The ECT is the world’s most litigated investment agreement and the UK’s continued presence within it has raised fears of “climate-wrecking lawsuits” if the government manages to pass its offshore petroleum licensing bill, which aims to jack up UK oil and gas extraction. About 40% of North Sea oil and gas licences are owned by foreign investors, according to research by the Common Wealth thinktank.
“However, the mechanism in the ECT which made it so deadly – the investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) provisions – lives on in a number of other treaties, including the pacific trade deal. With ISDS’s legitimacy crumbling, now is the time to scrap all this system.”
