another factor is that while the defintion of 'junior doctor' is a doctor ( not a GP who has GP specialit regsitration) who has not obtained a CCT/ CCST , CESR'd onto the specialist register ( and therefor is eligble to take up a consultant post) or alternatively meets the pre 2008 Associate Speicalit requirements or the post 2021 Specialist Doctor criteria in reality in Healthcare practice when talking about Junior Doctors most peopel mean Foundation Doctors and corre trainnes / early years of 'Run -through'Speciality training - and talking aobut the still technically 'junior doctor' higher specialist trainees i.e. 'proper' Registrars and Speciality doctors as 'middle grade doctors 'It makes them sound like they're amateurs ( and most will be in agreement in my right wing neighbourhood) and don't deserve a pay rise. I nearly needed an ambulance after hearing that bullshit.
