The Gavin Williamson hatred thread

His interviewing technique isn't subtle, and so the subjects immediately revert to the auto lines that their Malcolms have fed them. They know that the interview has a finite amount of time, and they can get away with repeating what they want rather than answer the question. It also employs the old technique of repeating something frequently enough such that it becomes accepted, regardless of its truth.

Moron isn't alone in his attack mode; Newsnight, Marr and Today, C4 all use it too.

Marr doesn't. He's a terrible interviewer. Theres one guy on BBC breakfast, Charlie Stait or someone who goes for the jugular but Emily Maitliss is the best out there by a stretch. A far more subtle Piers Morgan. It's enjoyable watching both of them charcoaling ministers.

Morgan's ratings have soared during this shitstorm so he and his bosses must be loving it on a purely selfish level, although I do get the impression he does actually despise these fuckwits.

and the rest of them  you must have incredibly low standards to think Johnson and the rest of them are doing a good job.

From the PR around the replacement for Eurasmus:

British state: drives Alan Turing to suicide.
Also British state: uses Alan Turing's name to sell hastily bodged-together scheme to replace long-established and hugely successful academic exchange program that the UK was dragged out of for no reason at all.

Wasn't Kemi the one who was recently whining about critical race theory/marxism in schools, blah blah blah, culture war

None really, just that most posters seem to use surnames when referring to politicians...which seems to make sense?
There were complaints about people referring to the PM as Boris as it helped build his matey man of the people image but I don't think that argument really works for Kemi Badenoch.
