"The British people expressed their view very clearly on 23rd June"

This is utter fucking rubbish, where in the quote below does it say any such thing.

This is the second time on this thread you've come out with this bollocks.
aye, because I'm debating. You haven't explained at all why you think this particular quote is so brilliant or really discussed it in any way .

It's not up to me to speak on behalf of other people. If you want to know what those nearer the sharp end think go post it on a Black Lives Matter forum or on Everyday Sexism. Those debates would be interesting, please invite me along :)

It's obviously divisive: it has divided you and I over an abstraction about which I'd expect us to agree: the primacy of class over any politicised identity. That division seems to me completely unnecessary and counter-productive at a time when the identity politics that matter are coming from the alt-right and promote the interests of white men above all others.

Tmm there is no need to be having this conversation at all, that basic concept could have been presented in far less divisive terms.

What interpretation of that particular quote makes it so special? I'm clearly not seeing something you are.

Neither anything I've posted nor the quote argues, or even implies, that
The rest of your sentence, and the quote you claim is "absolutely bloody brilliant" were about racism and sexism, and how essential it is that those at the sharp end should put up with it.
So quite frankly either you apologise for that smear (the second time on this thread you've made it or something similar) or fuck off.

What's "divided" us is your repeated attempts to cast myself (and danny) as willing to support racism.

there's no smear, I've told you how I read that quote and I'm asking you to explain what you think it says.

And why have the alt right done so well out of identity politics ?
because they're so ruthless in the way they target anger and grievances against target hate groups. Their agenda revolves around white nationalism and they don't care who gets hurt.

You say this as if you were pointing at something self-evident. But what do you mean?

It seems to me that whilst being ruthless in the way they target 'target hate groups' and the fact that they have rephrased old stereotypes doesn't fully explain how they have moved from the marginal shadows to the centre stage of politics.

can you add a bit more to the explanation then please.

It would seem he's trying to discredit the result and undermine support for it. Or do you think there's something else to it?

I dunno, that's why I was asking. I am struck however by a recent tendency in some circles to whip up concern over alleged Russian meddling.
