The 2023 Russian Coup.

Large columns of military vehicles are on the move in videos from Voronezh region, not sure if Russian army moving in or (more likely) Wagner on the move from Rostov into voronezh or perhaps heading north.

One thing for sure : the Wagner guys are battle hardened as fuck at this point after months in bakhmut. The Russian national guard not so much

Let's say Wagner take over Russia; that doesn't look unlikely right now.

Will that mean Russia goes into a "total war" mode of absolute social mobilisation and explicitly becomes a fascist state? Prigozhin has effectively advocated for that in the past. Not sure how this squares with his criticism of reasons for the war in Ukraine though.

And if Putin deposed would there be Versailles type reparations which would threaten any regime taking over, looking unlikely though that it would be a 'moderate' regime.

I can't see Russia going to a total war footing in the event of a successful coup - way too much internal shaking out of power to do, and bidding for troop loyalty would surely involve promising not to put them back in the meat grinder rather than going the other way.

National guard on way to Rostov.

Fighting in Voronezh region

M2 highway also closed near Moscow and at least one bridge closed.

Kadryov comes out on side of Putin, sends he will send chechens to fight Wagner.

A Russian air force plane apparently shot down in Voronezh region

Ok moving my telegram updates to this thread now. Ukrainian telegram reports the Russian air force bombing the M4 highway to block Wagner from moving toward Moscow
These crawling columns are sitting ducks from air attacks no?. It's a long way to Moscow....

Can we call it a civil war now?

They have anti air equipment with them.
That's a very broad statement.... They have some guns that fire up but Russia has a full air force that can fire from distance. At the moment it's probably not expedient to wipe out the column but id bet it's not that hard
