I thought it was great.

OMG I just looked this up and I might have done a little excited squeal! I love this self referential, cross over shit.

Just binged the entirety of Picard season 3 in one long session.

Not too shabby. I skiped season 2.

Had some mixed feelings about some of the end but found it woth watching.

I really disliked the end plot. The real villain, transporters, magic kid blah blah blah. Bollocks. Getting there and getting the old gang back together was fun though.

In the whole history of TV shows, the only one-off musical episode that has ever been any good was from Buffy. Everyone else fucks it up.

I can't really get into SNW. I watched the free episodes on Youtube, but it just isn't grabbing me. I wish it would because there's fuck all else scifi on tv these days.

So Dr MBenga is chief medical officer. But when Kirk takes over, McCoy ends up doing his job, while MBenga stays on. Haha, weird levels of trk knowledge are my specialty. His is Vulcan medicine

Doing a binge of SNW season 1 with a mate.
Just did episodes 2 to 4. I'm really enjoying it so far. Episode 4 was a highlight I think. The mix of the classic bad guy plus the classic submarine warfare in space was a good mix.

In terms of good episodes vs crap episodes it might be the best Trek iteration yet. Worf/Defiant era DS9 is still top of the tree for story though.

I’ve just binged the last Picard series on a Prime free trial. I liked it, overall. And I really, really want the Enterprise G spin off with Seven, Raffi and Sidney La Forge. Make it so.

Next I need to get a Paramount freebie to binge SNW, which I believe I can do via Prime.

I've been rewatching random episodes of VOY recently (my first Trek show) as the Pensky Podcast are about to hit the golden age (S4). I'll admit I'm cherry-picking the episodes, but it's really good. I know they've struggled through it, even hoping their Patrons would ask them to review something else instead, but imagine S1-3 of TNG where Data is only introduced in the last episode

Personal opinion, Lower Decks is absolutely killing it this series. Loved the callback to Janeway being a murderous monster in the Voyager-themed one.

3 seasons. The Dominion turn up properly at the end of season 2 and the Defiant at the beginning of season 3. The Klingons and Worf arrive at the start of season 4.
