Rugby Union 2017-18

The Wallaby line-out fell to pieces in the second half. I haven't seen all the stats, but did they win any of their own in the whole 40 minutes?

Two grand fine. The larceny and assaulting a police officer charges got dropped.

You'd think he'd learn. No sympathy from me (though I have traditionally been known to take a zero tolerance approach to English internationals ;))
Well yeah, it's not the second time, or the third..

likely, though that's the case with every team with the possible exception of Ireland
I think their beatable, it will mean bodies on the line stuff and roughing them up, being intensely physical for 85 minutes and then hoping that the refs can see them offside for the whole game. I think they'll be surprised when they arrive in Europe.

Watched the part of the game on Saturday and turned off. Their dominance is putting me off SH rugby. They play well but when the results are a foregone conclusion, what's the point. Obviously SA and Australia have suffered from the exodus to Europe but they don't seem to be producing young talented players anymore.

The Lions managed to beat them in one test last year, on their patch, restricting them to just penalties too, so it is possible.

This.

Also, fuck Leinster and their bottomless pool of talent.

And Nigel Owens.
Bottomless pools of talent tend to be commensurate with bottomless budgets and Leinster are a very wealthy side. Agree on Nige - poor performance and some game changing decisions
