Rugby Union 2017-18

Sad to see him go ain't it. We've become progressively better season on season. But the players seem genuinely excited by the new Aus man.

Do they? All I've seen is captain Sam saying so on BBC Wales and no disrespect to the guy but he's going to say that isn't he? Obviously hoping the new guy does well but the manner in which Wilson left doesn't really inspire me with confidence that the board know what they're doing.

There's a fine team developing at Cardiff with the young players coming through, we just need the off-the-field structure in place to back them.

I hope I can find decent streams for the semis next Saturday. Coupled with the FA Cup Final, I should be able to completely avoid the royal shite.

Oh shit, I'm going to miss the final next week. I'll have to try to avoid the result until C5 put the highlights on on the Monday.

A difficult one to call, as Sarries looked incredible.

Not the game I was expecting to see. Teams seemed reversed for the first half hour. Glad we won but a closer match than the score suggests. A great way to finish for Chris Wyles. And now I know you can get back to Hounslow by bus with no queues the pain of Twickenham is ended.

Saw a sweet cross-field kick try for Aws v Cym a short while ago. Wonderful effort. However, Cym were ahead by about 9 last time I checked, which is marvellous. It'll all go tits up no doubt.

So Nucifora is earning his euros Joey Carbery is off to Munster. Probably means that Bylendall won't be returning, or that Keatley is off to Ulster. Either way, good news for Joe Schmidt as his two preferred 10's will have first team rugby. And with Tagdh Beirne arriving soon, the IRFU have come through for Munster.
