Pro Cycling 2021

It's great to see Cav back. Winning 2 days running and to of GQ. Watching to see if he can make it a third. Must be good for his confidence.

I didn't think the final crash looked that bad....https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/multiple-riders-taken-to-hospital-after-huge-crash-in-tour-of-turkey-sprint-finish/

There looked to be two separate incidents at the same time on different sides of the road

It was quite "special". Watching highlights now and hoping for more news.
I gather Cav has no idea where he is heading after Turkey but gather he is one off the record number of wins in Turkey, the holder being Griepel. People all also talking up his chances of a record number or TDF wins...a pedal turn too far?

4 to equal, 5 for lead. Cav and his train will up against much stronger opposition in le tour of course.
Cav's 3 wins were all slightly different and all pretty near text book, no panic, no jumping the gun

Todays finish in Turkey, the last 600M was agonising. :D:(

Amstel Gold this weekend. Ineos aren't messing about with their lineup, some proper firepower in there.

Mind you, whatever happens I can't see it quite matching the level of the last one in 2019, which had arguably the single best end to a bike race in years.

Is "millimetersprint" an actual word in Dutch. :D

Hope Pidcock hasn't peaked too early , it's his first real season. Looking forward to him claiming a Tdf stage soon.

Good god, I hope they don't do a Kwiatowski on him and turn him from one of the best classic racers into a bloody mountain dom who only gets the chance to grab a breakaway win if the team are out of the GC classification. We'll find out at the Vuelta when he is down to ride with Bernal and Yates.

It will be interesting to see how he goes though - he really isn’t built like a classics rider, he’s absolutely tiny, which makes his ability on the lumpy cobbles and sprinting all the more impressive.
