Prince Andrew, Duke of York, named in underage 'sex slave' lawsuit

From the Associated Press:

Sjoberg also shed new light on an April 2001 trip to New York in which she said Prince Andrew touched her breast while they posed for a photo at Epstein’s Manhattan town house.

In the testimony, some of which appeared as excerpts in previous court filings, Sjoberg said she and Giuffre had flown with Epstein to New York on his private jet. Maxwell and Prince Andrew met them there.

At one point, she testified, Maxwell called her to an upstairs closet where they pulled out a puppet of Prince Andrew that had been made for a television program.

“It looked like him,” Sjoberg said. “And she brought it down and presented it to him; and that was a great joke, because apparently it was a production from a show on BBC.”

“And they decided to take a picture with it, in which Virginia and Andrew sat on a couch. They put the puppet on Virginia’s lap, and I sat on Andrew’s lap, and they put the puppet’s hand on Virginia’s breast, and Andrew put his hand on my breast, and they took a photo.”

If only that picture could appear, that would be quite something.

Well, Dershovitz is 85. Rich people like him tend to live into their 90s, so we might have to wait a few years to hear the true allegations against him and all the things he has managed to keep a lid on with his threats. When it comes to people who have used the law to keep the law away from their door, who have used the law to bully people, who have used the law to stop people getting jobs, well, he must be close to the top of the list.

I was not surprised at the whole Clinton, Andrew etc but Hawking? That has dinged my faith in humanity...
Regardless of whether they abused trafficked women - and that's a pretty big regardless - all these scumbags went playing the games of the mega rich with Epstein well after he had been convicted of sexual offences. He was convicted in 2008. but had been arrested in 2005 - from wiki:
In 2005, police in Palm Beach, Florida, began investigating Epstein after a parent reported that he had sexually abused her 14-year-old daughter. Federal officials had identified thirty-six girls, some as young as 14 years old, whom Epstein had allegedly sexually abused.[7]

Edit: I'm not adding Chomsky to the list of potential offenders of course, just someone willing to play the games of the rich and famous as much as the next egotist.

Didn’t Hawking quite like the strip clubs? Or is that my imagination?
Yeah. Was a regular at Stringfellows.

He was a brilliant scientist. His political positions were generally sound. But according to his first wife, he had a massive ego and was pretty selfish.

I could totally see him taking advantage of what Epstein had to offer without thinking too much about how it was all put together.

A second's thought would have shown him that something awful was going on. But he didn't give it a second's thought.

That's being charitable. But I think it is plausible to think that the likes of hawking didn't know where the girls came from because they didn't care where the girls came from.

I'd like to think that some of them are now ashamed of what they did. Don't think a single one has come out and said so, though. So maybe not.

I think I can forgive someone for going once. More than once, though? That implies approval at some level. Shame on him. :(
Actually, 'several' and/or 'numerous' according to this:

I notice he falls back on this as his defence of the visits, at the end of that piece:
"What was known about Jeffrey Epstein was that he had been convicted of a crime and had served his sentence," Chomsky told the Journal about his meetings. "According to U.S. laws and norms, that yields a clean slate."

Mealy mouthed shite of course, but even if 13 months + plea deal wiped out the fact that he was a sex trafficker - it doesn't - he was still a mega rich scumbag. What the fuck would any decent leftist have to do with filth like that?

I'm just trying to visualise Hawking in an orgy and considering putting it through Midjourney (the generative AI visualiser) so see what comes out. Yes/No.
