Have a care. It needs redecorating. It must be simply awful, frightful, beastly. Prince Noncalot is being packed off to this absolute hovel

How much will that cost, and there's no way he will start doing DIY and a painting and decorating course at his time of life.
They have to live in these places, otherwise they would fall into disrepair, crumble to the ground and it would be another part of our heritage gone.
If you don't need planning permission and you stick random bits on the front of what's already there, that's the kind of visual diarrhoea you end up with. 'Oh, yes, your highness I'll finish the design off with some random chimneys on the top'.
Maybe William and his lot can move in anyway and share the place with Uncle Andy. For those who are into royal property porn, I was drawn to this DM article by the headline that Andrew was refusing to move out of Frogmore Cottage.

Andy seems to be relying on the fact that his older brother won't kick him out because mummy didn't, whereas I think the new king is keen to demonstrate he will rule in his own way.For those who are into royal property porn, I was drawn to this DM article by the headline that Andrew was refusing to move out of Frogmore Cottage.

The one thing that stuck out to me was the Andy's name is on the lease from the Crown Estate so I'm unclear on what grounds Chas/the Crown Estate could evict him unless it's for breach of some covenant or other, or the lease makes it clear it's at the will of the sovereign - in which case it isn't really a lease but a licence.Andy seems to be relying on the fact that his older brother won't kick him out because mummy didn't, whereas I think the new king is keen to demonstrate he will rule in his own way.

And "skilled in analytical skills" isn't great writing, TBH

“Wishing you a very happy Christmas and New Year,” Prince Andrew wrote to Staley days before the holiday in 2010. “Sorry to have missed you this week. I had to go to Afghanistan so couldn’t be here and couldn’t tell you why or where I was. Hope to catch up sometime after the New Year. I will be at Davos as usual.”
“Be safe there,” Staley replied. “I bet it helps people that you’re there. I will get u the schedule of the JP Morgan stuff.” He continued, “I must say, getting a Christmas note from The Duke of York is sort of cool. Sorry we missed in London. I was there to announce or deal in Canary Warf [sic]. We got pretty good press. Maybe in London the next time I’m there, I could show u the building we bought. (The old Lehman building). The mayor of London was funny as always.”
In February 2011, Epstein told Staley, “andrew asked for your london schedule.”

No taxpayer-funded security for Prince Andrew!
Prince Andrew is reported to have launched a bid to win back his £3 million taxpayer funded security team with the backing of former Home Secretary Priti Patel. Andrew was stripped of police protection after paying millions to settle a civil sex assault case last year. The idea of spending £3...you.38degrees.org.uk
I hope that's true, because it'll damage William's popularity to some extent.Daily Telegraph today (according to a front page on Twitter)led with a story about how William may have forgiven him as he shared a car to church on Sunday
I think there’s two things in play. One is the Firm which must be protected above all. So on that front I don’t see him coming in from the cold any time soon. The other is that he’s still part of their family, and the bourgeoisie still have each others’ backs when it comes to that.Daily Telegraph today (according to a front page on Twitter)led with a story about how William may have forgiven him as he shared a car to church on Sunday
don't know about that, they were born into a life of immense wealth and privilege perhaps they might genuinely think that God smiles on them.I’d walk through a storm rather than share a car with this vile old cunt.
Do they all have to go to church btw? I can’t imagine many of them are actually religious. I can see why Charles needs to keep up the pretence, but why are the rest of them roped in?
It may even make sense for William to go along, seeing as it’s one of his next promotions. But surely there’s no need for Kate to kick the latest guardsman out of her bed to join him.
They're all part of the institution of the Chuch of England. The institution must be upheld at all costs!I’d walk through a storm rather than share a car with this vile old cunt.
