Prime Minister Johnson's cabinet

Attention falling on the manifesto written by Raab, Truss, Kwarteng and Patel in 2012. It was notorious for a moment for claiming that British workers were lazy and required a bonfire of regulation and benefits such as pensions to free both them and British business from the yoke.

How it was viewed then,
Tory MPs criticise 'idle workers'

Britannia Unchained: the free-market book that defines Boris Johnson’s new cabinet

This has always been the Brexit endgame. For elite Brexiteers it is worthless without a bonfire of regulation. That is the whole point. Everything else, sovereignty, taking back control etc is for consumption by the masses. Johnson’s ascension brings this putsch into the light. It is these individuals, Raab, Truss, who will be at the forefront of a US Trade deal. It will be a disaster if they can win an election. Brexit will have been the Trojan Horse.

Stop hiding behind someone who isn't a member of urban and state your own position. I asked you direct questions.

That's if you have a position more than sound bites and petty, binary insults I mean...not looking like it tbf.
You asked me questions about Brendan O'Neill's position. I am not Brendan O'Neill.

No I asked you questions about your positionwhich you have hinted at in soundbites in the following comments...

At last the country is run by Leavers

All of you lot who don't like this new cabinet - you're chattering class muppets.

They are delivering the will of the people, who you middle class lefty remoaners write off as thick racists.

On the basis of you posting those things my questions to you are...

What and who do you like about/in this cabinet oh wise one?

Apart from being leavers, what actual qualities do you admire about them as politicians, what good will they do our country?

But what about us that aren't middle class, remainers and not calling people thick racists? Why should we be glad we have such a hard line tory cabinet?

I was paraphrasing Brendan O'Neill, who writes articles to wind up the type of people who make up a large part of urban75. I am not a leave supporter. I do not, in fact, admire the or welcome a cabinet of right wing nutters. Fancy that, eh?

Quite astonishing. It's like some kind of crime caper where the worst and the weirdest come together to take over Gotham City.

Oh, and no, Corbyn isn't Batman in this analogy. ;)
… actually, might be onto something here. I'll be onto Marvel tomorrow, pitching Arseholes Assemble. Or should it be Cunts Convene? Perhaps Fuckwits Flock.

Have we had this yet?

Welcome to Boris Johnson’s government of all the lobbyists

The lobbyists are taking control. The firms which ensure that the rich and powerful have more of a say in our politics than the typical British citizen are now at the heart of the cabinet. Do the representatives of these firms leave their personal interests at the door as they become ministers and senior advisers? That ideal is looking ever more laughable....

Don't forget Rachel, whose been a Tory, Lib Dem and part of Change too, and comes out with such gems as this, on Grenfell and Theresa May:

There's also, allegedly, a fourth - Leo - who's apparently quite sane, Rachel once mentioned he was something environmental. He doesn't warrant a Wikipedia page, though, the only Leo Johnson that comes up is the Brookie character.
