Dunno if you'll be able to see this, but looks like it from the PSC site:Just checking: are only Palestine demos this weekend the ones outside Barclays branches?
Falter is the CEO of the Campaign Against Antisemitism and claims that he wasn't trying to be provocative, but I have serious doubts. Falter's stunt (because that's what it was) was intended to provoke and smear the pro-ceasefire demonstrators, show up the the Met as taking sides and give credence to the claim that Central London on protest days is a "no go area for Jews", despite the fact that thousands of Jews take part in the demos. The news orgs fail to challenge the claims made by groups like the CAA and never interview Jews who are on the marches. The Met Police has apologised after an officer said an antisemitism charity leader looked "openly Jewish" as he was threatened with arrest for being near a pro-Palestine march.
Gideon Falter was wearing a kippah skull-cap when he was stopped in the Aldwych area of London on Saturday.
He was told by police his presence was causing a "breach of peace", in a video posted online.
Mr Falter, who is chief executive of Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA), said he had been walking in the capital after attending synagogue and was not there to counter-protest.
In footage of the police officers speaking to Mr Falter, posted online by the charity, an officer said Mr Falter would be arrested if he remained at the scene. In response, Mr Falter has accused the Met of creating "no-go zones" for Jewish people.
Last week JNF UK’s Vice Chairman Gideon Falter went on a tour of several life-changing projects that we are supporting in the Negev, seeing first-hand how we are helping people from all walks of life. You can see some of the highlights of the trip in the video below, including Gideon’s inspiring speech to the graduates of the Derech Eretz leadership programme:
Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this.
Last night the the BBC reported that
Falter is the CEO of the Campaign Against Antisemitism and claims that he wasn't trying to be provocative, but I have serious doubts. Falter is lying. My bold

Falter is not only CEO of CAA, he's also a director and vice chairman of the Jewish National Fund UK, which buys up land on which to build illegal settlements. Here he is being celebrated on the JNF website in 2021.
Tony Blair is also a trustee of the JNF UK.
The JNF has also funded the CAA not once, but twice.
Revealed: Israel charity funded Campaign Against Antisemitism
Jewish National Fund is a key donor to a group which boasted of slaying opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn.asawinstanley.substack.com
The original tweet:
There are faults on both sides here.
CAA is a pro Israel Zionist supporting organisation who object to those on demos opposing Israel killing thousands of Palestinians in Gaza and opposing Israel policies towards Palestinians.
No suprise he is leading light in Jewish National Fund. History of which is rooted in ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Land cleared of Palestinians in 48 was handed over to JNF for Jewish settlement. So long history of being a Zionist organisation.
However the video does show an officer telling him he cannot cross the road full of demonstrators due to the march as he looks Jewish. Officer does say this is part of the reason. It was wrong decision.
However he was saying he was just wanting to cross the road. The officer was stopping him. No he wasn't just needing to cross the road he was trying to be provocative
I was at that particular march. Zionist groups have taken to holding counter demo. Filming themselves and trying to make out its not safe for Jews in central London do to these marches.
They deliberately try to antagonise marchers to get a response that can use to say these are hate marches.
On that Saturday the police had set up two sets of barrier on Aldwych and a line of police between the counter demo and the march.
It was at point where march came down Kingsway and turned into Aldwych.
March organisers had also put stewards at that point urging marchers that these people weren't worth it and to not stop but continue moving on.
Which with a bit of heckling on both sides did happen.
It must be disappointing for them not to get violent reaction. So I suppose the I just want to cross the road full of marchers is a new one.
I didnt put this photos up before as did not want to give them credibility. But this shows police line / separation and no demo marchers making central London a no go area.
As far as I'm concerned they have a right to protest and the lengths they are going to to try and make out its not safe are rubbish. View attachment 420667View attachment 420668View attachment 420669
The Charity Commission has said it is “assessing concerns” about the Campaign Against Antisemitism, which was at the forefront of antisemitism allegations against Labour under Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership.
The commission has opened a regulatory compliance case against the CAA, after complaints including that the charity is politically partisan.
It's gone quiet. The CAA made the initial submission to the Equality and Human Rights Commission about antisemitism within Labour, which led to the EHRC finding that the party was responsible for unlawful harassment and discrimination.
The CAA also organised protests outside Labour HQ and a petition, the wording of which was changed from Corbyn “must go” to Labour “must act” after a previous regulatory compliance case. On that occasion the Charity Commission said it had instructed the CAA to change the wording “to ensure it complied with our guidance on campaigning and political activity”.
Jewish Voice for Labour (JVL) has complained to the charities regulator, alleging the CAA is not fulfilling its stated principal charitable objects of promoting racial harmony by the elimination of antisemitism.
It alleges the CAA has engaged in “persistent conflation and equating of antisemitism with criticism of the state of Israel”. This echoed concerns raised by the all-party parliamentary group against antisemitism in a 2015 report, which said “it is important that the (CAA) leadership do not conflate concerns about activity legitimately protesting Israel’s actions with antisemitism, as we have seen has been the case on some occasions”.
JVL, which has had dozens of members investigated by Labour for alleged antisemitism, alleges the CAA is a “partisan political campaigning group”. Charity regulations state that “an organisation will not be charitable if its purposes are political”.
If I tried to get amongst Britain First at a counter protest I would be thrown to the floor by multiple coppers, arrested for public order offences and put in a van. “To keep the peace”This Sky report shows that the an in question was not simply "trying to cross the road".
