Now Jurgenna believe us - Liverpool 20/21

Setting up Jota, Salah has now assisted 16 different players for Liverpool - the most in the Klopp era:

15 - Milner
14 - Firmino, Robertson
13 - Mané
12 - Alexander-Arnold, Coutinho
I could see how happy he was with that stat when he was substituted

Was worried before this game but that was a walk in the park. Good to see the Kop faithful back, Spurs game Wednesday week be interesting.

Not a bad schedule in the run up to the January transfer window. Spurs a tough game but at Anfield so that helps.

Away to Palace and Southampton :hmm:

Lifelong Liverpool supporter, gifts Salah the opening goal, in front of 2000 on the Kop, then does a celebration to reveal his bra.

If I told you this would you have believed me?

Liverpool have won 31 of their last 32 home league games (D1), scoring 93 goals while conceding just 25 in this time.

That Henderson fella has gone up in my estimation:

Mohamed Salah has now scored as many Premier League goals as Cristiano Ronaldo, in 65 fewer appearances.
To be fair Ronaldo played on the wing (basically) for quite a bit of his Utd career though.

Kelleher into the Fantasy Premier League weekly squad in his first Premier League match. Must be the lads proudest achievement.

In defence of Cristiano Ronaldo (words I never thought I'd type) his time in the PL started as a very raw 18yr old playing almost exclusively on the wing in a more traditional sense, as a provider. Like just about every player (inc Messi) it took a couple of seasons before he took on the mantle of goalscorer in chief and his numbers skyrocketed, right before he left :D

Salah had his slow start at Chelsea but for a small number of games only (including bizarrely as a wing back on occasion) but on his return to the PL he was ready to hit the ground running and playing in the now prime goalscoring position of inverted wide forward. Not exactly comparing apples with apples - a better comparison would be with Ronaldo's start at Real Madrid.

I am not claiming Salah is better than Ronaldo :D

Still a good benchmark in terms of what he has achieved.

A greedy striker with a lot of assists ;)

Away to the mighty FC Midtjylland tonight :)

Going to be an interesting line up. Some young players on for sure but there are a few players returning from injury who might get a half or half hour cameo.

In five mins

Liverpool team to play Midtjylland ...
Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, R Williams, Fabinho, Tskimikas, Clarkson, Keita, Minamino, Jota, Origi, Salah.
