Now Jurgenna believe us - Liverpool 20/21

Well that was impressive. Lots of major players out injured but a comfy win.
Gutted (but not surprised) about Keita :(
He was looking really sharp and now likely out at least a month.

Thiago and Ox are back in training and Hendo is a machine so won't be long.
Shame we don't ten Milners :D

Milner is (only) 34. For some reason I thought he was about 37.

I reckon he can still keep going for several more seasons. Feels like he has been around forever!

25/11 - Atalanta at home
28/11 - Brighton away
01/12 - Ajax at home
05/12 - Wolves at home
09/12 - FC Midtjylland away
12/12 - Fulham away

Quite a busy run of games but only need a point (or two?) for CL qualification

He started playing first team very young I think?

16 at Leeds I think. He’s been around forever and an absolute machine. He should be kept in the background when he retires say he’d be a good mentor for the young ones coming through.

I fear (and fair play to him) his might see out at least his playing days with Leeds. I would like to see Milner stay with Liverpool coaching/managing the youth side and maybe one day 🤔

I thought Milly might have joined Leeds this season - but assuming they stay up - I think he'll sign a two year deal with them next season, and finish of his career there.

Hendo will then assume the role.

Really thought Jones played in a really calm disciplined way last night - filled all the roles across midfield as and when needed.

Most wins in first 200 competitive appearances for Liverpool:

133 - Gini Wijnaldum
131 - Alan Kennedy
126 - Gary Gillespie
123 - Steve McMahon
122 - Ian Rush
120 - Craig Johnston
120 - John Barnes

Really struggling to get excited by the Premier League this year. No crowds, fake cheering, VAR laughable, refereeing all over the place. It's really weird. My team are really good, winning even with depleted squads, but it just doesn't feel like football this time round.

Looks like we should be able to go to a non-league match after this lockdown so I'm hoping the Boxing Day local derby might enthuse me again.

Minor gripe in the grand scheme of a global pandemic, I know, but still.

It is a bit blah isn't it. I have been watching some games but more listening on the wireless at the moment.

Liverpool attempted just one shot in the first half against Atalanta (Mo Salah in the 44th minute), their lowest in the opening 45 minutes of a competitive match at Anfield since January 2017 in a Premier League game against Chelsea (also one).

OptaJoe

😆😆😆🤣😂

My mate with BT Sport has cancelled the subscription I piggybacked on for years. Apparently the cost has trebled :hmm: so will listen on the wireless.

Hopefully the Liverpool team who turned up at Leicester will be playing today :hmm: not the rabble who played Atalanta

Several of the walking wounded are training again but still a bit threadbare.

Plenty of free streams about.

I got BT sport freebie with my EE contract - (usually a fiver a month) works on the phone and It works on my chromebook for a bigger screen experience!

I use this site for other streams Soccer Streams- Official reddit soccer streams

Very disappointing to not see that game out, didn't think it was a pen in real time - as soon as it goes to var though I knew the ref would give it.

Oh well on to the next one.

Don't think Klopp is going to win the argument with the tv broadcasters - but they now seem to love pushing him on it.

Setting up Jota, Salah has now assisted 16 different players for Liverpool - the most in the Klopp era:

15 - Milner
14 - Firmino, Robertson
13 - Mané
12 - Alexander-Arnold, Coutinho
