Now Jurgenna believe us - Liverpool 20/21

Injury FC latest..

FIFA are paying some (£80k pw or £2m total rumoured) of Gomez wages while he is out.

Andy Robertson has been getting some treatment for sore hamstring after the 120 mins for Scotland :( hopefully he is rested.

I was only talking about him with my dad a week ago. He grew up supporting Liverpool around that era. Legend of a man. RIP Ray

Just seen this. Really sad news he was one of the best in his era.
RIP Mr Clemence
Yeah.

Shilton (now a bit of a cunt) was the England hero and had an unusually long career. Kind of kept Clemence in the background. He was a great keeper though and a decent sort.

I'm sure at one stage England ridiculously alternated Shilton and Clemence
He did get a fair showing but nothing like Shilton. Big Pete might be a cunt now but he was a hell of a keeper.

I grew up supporting Bruce Grobbelaar who is still my favourite keeper. Clemence was a natural though and sad to see him go.

A legend.
Yup.

The word 'legend' gets chucked around too easily. He was a legend at Liverpool and Spurs on the pitch then a legend behind the scenes for club and country.

He was the head of the F.A's Head of Development Team, where his role was to oversee the England under 16s, 17s, 18s, 19s and 20 sides, working with England U21 coach Stuart Pearce in monitoring the players' progress to the U21 side.

I remember when I was a kid and wanted to be a goalie, the choice of gloves were some Shilton rubbery ones or cloth Clemence ones...I went with the Rays.

Henderson is in training then.
Maybe he did what he did on the Barcelona game at half time and walked into the dressing room and said "just give me all the drugs."

Last year, Diogo Jota completed 8 of 11 dribbles against Leicester on the opening day of the season.

The year before, he scored a hat-trick against them in a 4-3 win.

Before joining Liverpool, he had one career UCL goal against Leicester.

Jurgen Klopp:

“We have a lot of people in the world making decisions who are completely clueless, especially politicians."

Watched the first half :) then went to bed to listen to the second half on the wireless and promptly fell asleep. Just watched the second half  this morning.

The penalty shout against Matip was a bit close for comfort given recent decisions  but that aside Liverpool could have won that 5/6-0.

Milner MotM for me but Jota, Jones and Matip all with a shout. Good to see Bobby scoring (nearly several) on top of impressive link up play.

Nearly a quarter of the season played and 8 points clear of City is not bad with the injury issues. Short to mid term it is more Chelsea and Spurs to watch out for :hmm:
