Now Jurgenna believe us - Liverpool 20/21

I loved Craig Johnstone - he wasn't the most skilled player ever to wear the shirt but his energy and effort really helped - like a prototype Kuyt.

Just skim read the article - I do vaguely remember him retiring early to care for his sister and thinking at the time he was just entering his peak..so fair play to him to sacrifice all that for family. I remember the boot as well - didn't it sort of have a gilled look to it?

Anyway looking forward to the game - hope Rhys can hold up against Song/Kane - really difficult though - so I wouldn't be disappointed with a with a draw.

Liverpool have the unbeaten at home record going, but only 2000 fans allowed in which reduces the home advantage...
Spurs will be playing defensively youd have to expect .
But with such great strikers on the pitch i think There Will Be Goals
1-1 seems a sensible prediction based on form...
Great chance from Spurs to break that home run though
Why would we want a sensible prediction based on form?

Jose: The best team lost.
Sunray: 2-1, lol.

I do like Jose right now, I think Tottenham are definitely up there, they can punish the slightest lapse in defence. The problem is their ambition. If they are up against great defences, they aren't getting anything much.

I rewatched the 2001 Uefa for Houllier. Then because of reasons the 2005 CL. How the fuck did we win that? Take another close look at the team sheet of Milan?

GK 1 Brazil Dida
RB 2 Brazil Cafu
CB 31 Netherlands Jaap Stam
CB 13 Italy Alessandro Nesta
LB 3 Italy Paolo Maldini (c)
DM 21 Italy Andrea Pirlo
RM 8 Italy Gennaro Gattuso Substituted off 112'
LM 20 Netherlands Clarence Seedorf Substituted off 86'
AM 22 Brazil Kaká
CF 7 Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko
CF 11 Argentina Hernán Crespo Substituted off 85'
Substitutes:
GK 46 Italy Christian Abbiati
DF 4 Georgia (country) Kakha Kaladze
DF 5 Italy Alessandro Costacurta
MF 10 Portugal Rui Costa Substituted in 112'
MF 24 France Vikash Dhorasoo
MF 27 Brazil Serginho Substituted in 86'
FW 15 Denmark Jon Dahl Tomasson Substituted in 8

The alternate reality is a 10-0 drubbing.

This is why I want Carlo Ancelotti as our next manager. We'd win everything without getting out of breath.

Nah it’s no fluke, amazing footballing side, amazing manager, and some hell of a winger in Mo Salah. Hopefully it’s not all over yet but twenty-fucking-seven shots against WBA at home for a 1-1 draw. Seems to be done and dusted.

Also, anyone else got a man-crush on Alison? The chiselled, handsome, bearded devil. Wonderful keeper too.

that Gerrard header to make it 3-1. Amazing goal. Then he went RB which is where England should have utilised him. Hargreaves/Carrick/Lampard/Scholes in midfield. Sol and Rio at CB. Ashley Cole was top class. Just we had no other striker and have never had a decent LW since Barnes. Alas, hindsight.

On balance Spurs almost got what they came for , Liverpool got what they deserved.
It was a great game and Liverpool deserved the win. Spurs played a classic JoseBall game and could have left with a win despite their lack of possession. I am probably biased, but would honestly not swap Henderson for Son or/and Kane.

As a player in terms of skill then KBD is a the first pick. That said he is one of those players who is a 'Worldy' one week then anonymous the next.

Would take Henderson over him every time
