The following is yesterday's press release from "Scholars of 9-11 Truth"

Experts Claim Official 9/11 Story is a Hoax

Scholars for 9/11 Truth call for verification and publication by an international consortium.

Duluth, MN (PRWEB) January 30, 2006 -- A group of distinguished experts and scholars, including Robert M. Bowman, James H. Fetzer, Wayne Madsen, John McMurtry, Morgan Reynolds, and Andreas von Buelow, have concluded that senior government officials have covered up crucial facts about what really happened on 9/11.

They have joined with others in common cause as members of "Scholars for 9/11 Truth" (S9/11T), because they are convinced, based on their own research, that the administration has been deceiving the nation about critical events in New York and Washington, D.C.

These experts suggest these events may have been orchestrated by elements within the administration to manipulate Americans into supporting policies at home and abroad they would never have condoned absent "another Pearl Harbor."

<cue frenzied googling of names>

Some of the Vital Questions on the press release are brilliant. My favourite is:

Foreign "terrorists" who were clever enough to coordinate hijacking four commercial airliners seemingly did not know that the least damage to the Pentagon would be done by hitting its west wing. How is this possible?

Does that make any sense? Nope.

Then, there's another load of old cock:

The BBC has reported that at least five of the nineteen alleged "hijackers" have turned up alive and well living in Saudi Arabia, yet according to the FBI, they were among those killed in the attacks. How is this possible?

Has it? Where's it done that then?

And then there's the usual unsupported claim:

These experts suggest these events may have been orchestrated by elements within the administration

Which ones? When? In what way? And how come nobody noticed?

IT'S THE USUAL COBBLERS. OF COURSE.

Names and professions at the bottom of that page.

Thanks for that TAE.

Robert M. Bowman (Former Director of the U.S. "Star Wars" Space Defense Program in both Republican and Democratic administrations) is a new name for me, but doubtless some on these boards would brand him a loony-tune crackpot, like all the other dissenters and whistleblowers.

Anyone know what "Victoria Ashley: architecture and physiological psychology" translates into in the real world? Does she analyse the feelings of Roman arches or summat?

And I like the other hard hitting credentials, "Conspiracies", "student", "Student scholar", "Motives behind attack", "Theoretical Linguistics" and, appropriately, "Associate Professor of Creative Arts."

You've done it again, Jazzz!

:D

This one tickled me:
A tape recording of interviews with air traffic controllers on duty on 9/11 was deliberately crushed, cut into very small pieces, and distributed in assorted places to insure its total destruction. How is this possible?

Like an episode of Danger Mouse.

Anyway...

Last in.

But that's true Techno303.

I don't really see the humour here - the 'how is this possible' refers to the wanton destruction by the state of crucial evidence, not whether things can be crushed into little pieces.

Ah, so what you are saying is that a cause should be judged by the least distinguished of its supporters.

an interesting analysis.

Lets see if this works.........
I hate it so it isn't true, I hate it so it isn't true I hate it so it isn't true....

Do you? Well more fool you, because crushing it takes all the life out of it.
It does not, it releases the goodness, as any fule no. Crush under flat blade of the knife, then remove skin and chop finely

You claimed that the "dissenters" were all "distinguished."

I'd like to know what's distinguished about this student, seeing as it appeared on that <cough> impressive list.

I'm afraid not. My old chef friend insisted that he was taught to chop, not crush.

I have found that sliceing it very thinly with a razor blade works very well
it gives the garlic the most surface area so that the flavor is transmitted to the sauce the most effectively.
it is time consuming and it makes your fingers smell like garlic but that is the best way that I have found to prepare it for Spagetti sauce.
sliceing it thin and frying it is good too buy ya need a lot of it.
garlic with greek style lamb is very good as long as it doesnt get to dry.
it is easy to put too much olive oil in it...............

Oh wait, What where talking about?.........

Must not have been important.

Yeah, I reckon you're on the ball there. But a sharp knife will suffice too.

Isn’t this method of garlic preparation portrayed in the film ‘Goodfellas’?
