Weren't they showing pictures from that during the press conference on the BBC? Or was that something else? Blurry pictures of a mans back, looked like a bus, if that's the best they had then it won't show much, very blurry, looked like a white guy though, not that that means anything.

Not really - the roof of the bus was taken out - but the lower deck was relatively unharmed.

The videotape would yield vital evidence.

It was running in a box along with the broadcast, not actually part of the conference, no difference though, 'tis probably a tube picture, as someone said, not much chance of the bus ones being out yet.

BBC News 24 was running the press conference in a half-screen window at left, and a slideshow in a window at right. I remember one of the slideshow images being people evacuating along an Underground tunnel* - and I think the bus image was another.
