Yes, very wrong! I was just helping out our friendly lurker.

I think s/he meant "fuck you" to the terrorists... in that the tube will be back on its feet soon...

...as opposed to Loki is sending out a "fuck you" message..

Edited to add.. unless I'm hopelessly naive...

..again...

Any more news from Manchester ref the emergency service activity?
From MEN:

Manchester on high alert after attacks
Clarissa Satchell

GREATER Manchester was on a state of high alert this afternoon following the explosions on the transport network in London.

Extra patrols were sent onto the streets focussing on the areas near train stations and transport networks.

Although there has been no intelligence to suggest there is any threat to the region, extra officers were sent out on the streets to act as a deterrent and help reassure the public.

Police and transport organisations are on a heightened state of alert across north-west England after terrorist explosions in London on Thursday.

Police in Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester urged people to be vigilant, stressing there was no intelligence the areas were targets.

I've just been out onto Camden Road by the Skateboard park (cantelowes) and the pavement is like oxford street, so many people, all just walking in the same direction, North, away from the city. :(

You know it's freaky reading a post like that; I live about two minutes around the corner from there! I can imagine, might pop out for a bit later to get a sense of peoples feelings about this...

Source? This was denied at the press conference.
Indeed and I don't believe a word of it. That press conference was exactly that, a media management excersise. It was clear to me that there was alot more going on and they are just trying to put the look of authority on the situation.

having been asleep all day due to working nights this week i'm now awake and about to go to work.

i feel this will be one of the weirdest nights of my life.

There are too many reporters in frenzy mode interviewing people left right and centre for the govt to get away with lying about much.
