There were ealier reports of a power surge, but the electrical people are now saying that this wasn't right.
Unless it was the coincidence to end all coincidences, I think it's reasonable to assume a connection with the bus blasts. :( My boss even suggested that the tube blasts were intended to get people on to the buses and then... but maybe that is going a bit far.

I hate to repeat myself but did STFC loyal say he was on Houndsditch before the second ( controlled?) explosion?

He doesn't seem to be around now....

I really think people should get home and stay home if they can. We don't know what else there is.

They stuck with the power surge story for a long time

02 confirm they have closed the mobile network in London

Presumable due to lack of other information - I don't think that much was getting through to the news networks at that point, and those reports were from the underground people as opposed to the police (afai).

Sky news....several tube stations have reported blasts and army has been sent to covent gardens

Reuters show statement from EU Presidency Office that 'large number of fatalities in London, thoughts are with the people of London in the fight against terrorism'

02 Customer Services

'The service is currently closed to customers in London area due to major incidents'

Your probably right about it being closed to normal folk and reserved to emerg
