Joe Biden's time is up

Not a great look for Biden but I'm sure I'd have done the same thing in his shoes - now that Trump's made it very clear that one of the main themes of his administration will be vengeance on the previous administration, I don't think it'd be a good idea to leave Hunter Biden in the hands of Trump's Justice Department, possibly to be used as a bargaining chip in whatever fucked-up schemes he's planning
 
Nah, no excuse. I'd have let my son go through the same legal procedures as everybody else. I mean, the guy is a pretty dodgy character by the looks.
 
Skimming through the news sites this morning its overwhelmingly a bit incredulous, from left to right. From the NY Times through to the Daily Mail. Wonder wtf was going through Biden's head when he decided on this.
 
In summary, Joe Biden is a fucking tool. From only being dragged out of the presidential race with a couple of months on the clock after praising 'President Putin' and somehow managing to get pwned by one of the thickest men on Earth in a debate, to this. Pardoning his flagrantly guilty son. I mean.

He was due to be sentenced this month, so he would have not been in the hands of Trump's Justice Department. Biden's excuse instead was itself Trumpian, that the charges were unfair and politically motivated.

Trump's DoJ would have had the option of filing additional charges or appealing any sentences it considered too lenient, and if Hunter Biden had been sentenced to prison time, the Bureau of Prisons is part of the DoJ.

And I think Democrats and Republicans alike agree that the gun charge would never have been prosecuted if his name was Hunter Jones, calling for strict enforcement of laws on filling out gun paperwork isn't exactly typical Republican behaviour
 
hmm trump has said he coming after biden and his family .. so gave his son a presidential pardon to stop it in it tracks


seeming as the next guy in to the job tried to put a child molester into the top job at the justice department..


the old man gets a pass on this one :)

I think the Trump charges are officially frozen, not dropped - maybe Biden should troll Trump by pardoning him on one of the lesser ones and leaving the others, which Trump will probably pardon himself for anyway

Would be lols but you can’t be pardoned until found guilty.

The optics of this are awful, regardless of what Trump has said, Biden has rubbished the rule of law in the US. Just imagine that today you are up for sentencing for tax evasion, facing years, decades behind bars. And this cunt gets a free pass cos of nepotism…
