Is Elon Musk the greatest visionary or the greatest snake oil salesman of our age?

Musk is now boosting the Pizzagate conspiracy theory.

Not long now until the Nazi Space Karen goes full Q, if he hasn't already.
thing wiht that though is although it makes him look so pathetic in and of itself and even funny, it actually gives a lovely enabling adn encouraging pat on the back to millions and millions of deranged conspiracists. "see, even king of the logic bros is on our side"

Who else automatically read that caption in the Adam Curtis voice?
:D Now you've planted that idea...deffo.

Prefaced with a long slomo (slightly unfocused) view of some arid landscape with Zoroastrian music leading to the script...Meanwhile, a long way away....

I watch mainly true crime and left philosophy on youtube, yet my shorts is stock full with mysoginy and "anti woke" shite. christ knows what the feed is like for those actively pursing this stuff.
That's what I said earlier when I went to watch a music video earlier (no account) and the first suggestion was a Piers Morgan/Andrew Tate interview. :(

No. Watch the video objectively. Maybe find some other space x videos and then find me the people cheering in the background. In all the videos. Which are incredibly similar.
Maybe watch the challenger disaster and see if you can notice the difference.

You only believe because you want to.
As per the films they had you watching growing up. At least when NASA were in charge of their own space exploration, you could see the effort put in when they fired huge chunks of metal at the moon and hoped for the best. As in how scary it is when a giant pipe strapped to a tank pf Kerosene stops going in the direction you hope.
This barely causes a shrug.
They even use the same cheering on other videos when the cgi thing lands on the ground again.

Challenger was (to them) watching 7 work colleagues die. Space X is still at fuck around and find out

Christ. Anyone thinking full autonomous cars are anywhere close yet is a fool.

Also, what dickhead designed that steering wheel? A finer example of design over function you’ll struggle to find.

The Knight Foundation??

A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Elon Musk, a middle-aged loser on a crusade, to champion the cause of the alt-right, the bigoted, the powerful. In a world of criminals who operate above the law…

To no-one's shock, Elon "gleeful about firing people" Musk doesn't give a shit about people getting injured on the job, relying on his workers' love of space to get away with it, and SpaceX is as a result the most dangerous company of its type to work for.

Current and former employees said such injuries reflect a chaotic workplace where often under-trained and overtired staff routinely skipped basic safety procedures as they raced to meet Musk’s aggressive deadlines for space missions. SpaceX, founded by Musk more than two decades ago, takes the stance that workers are responsible for protecting themselves ...

The 2022 injury rate at the company’s manufacturing-and-launch facility near Brownsville, Texas, was 4.8 injuries or illnesses per 100 workers – six times higher than the space-industry average of 0.8.
