How often do you wash your hands now?

Orang Utan

Psychick Worrier Ov Geyoor
At the moment it’s when I use the lav (obviously) and when I’ve arrived home from work, after using the work canteen to make a drink or warm my dinner up. And after picking up stuff other people have touched. I at first intended to wash them hourly but never remembered so have relaxed quite a bit.
What about you? are you a Howard Hughes? Or are you a Mr Trebus?

When I was at work through the summer, I gelled almost every time I encountered a dispenser.
Now that I'm at home I give them a decent scrub before I leave and when I return from the supermarket and a couple more times when I'm in the bathroom ...

After that, once away from humanity, it's back to my standard relaxed attitude to (bacteria).

After the toilet, every time I come into the house or work from outside (even if I've just popped to the shop over the road), before eating.

A lot.
Before preparing food and before eating.
After eating.
Before and after using the toilet.
After blowing nose or coughing I'll either wash my hands or use gel.
After putting groceries away.
I use hand gel a lot. After opening mail or anything arriving in to the house.

After visiting the loo,
Before handing food, crockery etc & before eating.
Immediately after coming into the house from outside.
After disinfecting any deliveries (spray or wipe down).

Washing hands is part of the routine for me. I don't like the diagrams they were using to promote handwashing - IMO the process omitted the wrists.

I'm currently (still) WFH ... and now avoiding meeting anyone f2f.
[previously, ie in the summer relaxation period I did have several work meetings - but outside, masked and socially distanced]

Since March I've had one cup of coffee at two different cafes. Both times were in mid-July, we sat outside, with a mask on except when actually drinking.
Several click n collect visits - items sprayed, we were masked, socially distanced & sanitised hands.
Currently, we are getting food delivered ... we mask up, use gloves and spray / wipe everything down once it is all on the doorstep.

I'm wfh and rarely leaving the house. Apart from after using the loo, I'm washing my hands every time I pick a parcel up on the doorstep, or pick letters up off the mat. I went shopping yesterday and used sanitiser on entering the shop, and when I came out. Had a thorough handwash after I'd put the shopping away. Paranoid maybe, but it's daft not to.

After using the toilet, before handling food, and when I get home from being out.

Sometimes use hand sanitizer at the entrance to shops and bars (when they were open) and there's a bottle in the car that hasn't been used much.

Can't resist a squirt of that good shit if it's around in the front of shops etc. Otherwise a bit more than normal

I am mostly at home alone so then after the loo and after touching post or something that has recently been brought into the house.
Also as soon as come into the house (or my parents house, they are my support bubble).
I gel loads when I am out so I don't potentially transfer virus into my handbag/purse/phone/keys etc.

I know the risk from touching stuff is thought lower now than previous worries but I still do it, and clean shopping, as I think if I stop now after being so fastidious for so long then it's sods law innit :D

Wash my hands regularly. If out and about I will sanitise my hands as I get into the car and before I remove my mask.

Does anyone actually do it for twenty seconds?
I'm not sure whether it's 20 seconds but I do do the full, proper hand hygiene hand wash.

How often? Well not as much as I did when this all started but after the loo, before eating, when I get to my destination after being on public transport and when I get home from the shops.

We're very good at regularly sanitising all shared surfaces at work which makes me feel secure when I'm there.

When my fingers break through the toilet paper.
And about every minute when I'm cooking.
I'm quite the hygienist.
