Have you had your [s]microchip[/s] vaccine yet?

Probably un-blind you so you can decide whether to have the vaccine if you've had the placebo? I got un-blinded from the trial I was on and found I'd had water, so had the Pfzer dose. Do you not know if you have any underlying health condition, is that what the face is for?

And just got an email from the PCN, loads of Pfizer doses arriving very soon, booking in lots of clinics for rest of this month and April, going to be busy.
Yeah, no idea. Only thing I can think of is iirc some mental health conditions are eligible for vaccines now so maybe I've been lumped in with those (autism spectrum & ADHD). Otherwise I'm in my twenties and disgustingly healthy :D

Got more jabs next month too because I only just realised I missed the ones I should've had at age 14.

My invitation text had a link to a booking site, I went to a group practice building, on the same site as the hospital in our local market town.

They told me I would be contacted when the second jab was due, probably by my GP, if that was they way the first one was booked.

I'm waiting, somewhat patiently, for that text. I've still got eight out of 12 weeks to go ...

Nice to see these things. First is a new poster up yesterday at the vaccine clinic to try and answer some questions people have...

And then this came today with the council tax bill. (Other side was some info in English about why people should get the vaccine.)
Finally, the council doing something useful!

and this afternoon i have had a text from my GP's saying i must ring this number before 5.30pm today to book my vaccination somewhere else

i've tried ringing and line's engaged

Got the AZ at the local docs this morning - all pretty swift and painless, apparently if we suffer any after effects we can get a few days off sick, paid, and it won't count against us
At least that's a bonus of the current panic :)

Finally unblinded myself, a slightly ridiculous rigmarole involving putting my Id number, dob and email in six times, never with any other information. And then wait for their email.

And wait and wait and wait. And eventually check my spam and discover it was sent immediately. Turns out I got vaccinated yonks back and don’t need a top up.

What trial were you on? I had Novavax, two doses, after first one had a few hours of sweats that night. Then I got unblinded to find out I had the water placebo.

ChAdOx1. I had nothing but a very slight temperature requiring a single parrot after the second, so convinced myself I’d had the monkey meningitis one.

Husband's just had his invite- good as I wasn't expecting either of us to get a look in soon with delays (40s) but good news as technically he's the most vulnerable member of household. Might be a while for me though, as I'm 4 years younger.

Is he going to W*******h?

Seems to be the main place around here... now to wait and see if I have to wait until May or if they get around to me in next 6 weeks.

Yeah, I took Ma and Pa Smiles there too - they were very impressed with how efficient it was. You might be soon I reckon - lots of my mates including lots younger than me, but in their 40s still, have been invited over the last couple of days
