Danny Brown has also dropped a new album, haven't listened yet but my son tells me it's good...
I've listened to a couple of tracks, and they sound very dark (but good).

Prompted by Spandex plugging Frankie Rose over on the 2012 thread, had a look at her bandcamp and she's got a new one out:
I don't think anyone's remarked that the full album is bloody good.In case you didn't know, Actress has a new one out next Friday.
She's touring the UK in Jan/Feb.Hooray, Margaret Glaspy has a new one coming out in August. Devotion was my AOTY in 2020, so I'm looking forward to this.
Chaos County Line. This summer's double album by Skating Polly, the best live band in the world. I've listened to it on streaming and that was OK, however the CD arrived this afternoon and it is way better on the stereo with plenty of bass. Glorious eclectic ramshackle punk pop. Stand out track is Tiger At The Drugstore. "Faking it doesn't feel like how I remember it". We've all been there...
They've been pretty much the best live band in the world for a good few years now. Coming to Europe in the new year in January. I already have my tickets for Omeara's in Borough. Their last album was brilliant, but not as close to what they can do live as this latest one is. I only found out about them because they booked a friend as a support act the first time the came to the UK.Only just getting around to checking this out, thanks - good stuff.
Gave it a spin today, really like it, but yes, certainly introspective. The Guardian reviewer didn't like the downbeat production but I think it's quite refreshing, and reflective of where he was presumably at while recording.I've listened to a couple of tracks, and they sound very dark (but good).
Kelela album out today, on Warp Records. R&B/Electronic. Sounds pretty good on first listen.
Kelela - Raven
New Dario Zenker on Ilian Tape sounds very nice. 100% certain he's borrowed bits off/done bits with Skee Mask for it- just listen to some of them sounds, particularly off Round Ritmo.
Corinne Bailey Rae has gone in a squonky new direction and I like it. Noisy, distorted, beautiful freeform songs inspired by Chicago's archive of Black art.
Dunno when they'll ever get around to releasing a proper album, but Kneecap have a new single out featuring him from off of Fontaines DC, it's pretty good:
my friend just released this beautiful piano album, very pretty/melancholy minimal pieces, good for winter evenings:
