*checks diary*

aye certainly is :)

Hang on -- urgent clarification needed I feel.

Last year, June 21st (Solstice day/longest day) was on the Monday.

BUT Solstice celebrations at Stonehenge in 2004 (which we went to) were on the SUNDAY night, that of the 20th, leading into dawn on the morning of the Monday.

So by analogy, this year's Solstice celebrations will be on the night of Monday 20th June, leading into dawn in the early hours of Tuesday 21st.

I fully expect that we'll spend that night (Monday night/Tuesday morning) on Glastonbruy Tor with a load of other Solstice-celbrating hippies (ie the mooses :p )

Andy Worthington (author of the Stonhenge book, and editor of the forthcoming Battle of the Beanfield book) told Stig and I last week that there'll be a full moon on Solstice night -- a very rare co-incidence.

the DAY of the 21st is Tuesday, thats what I was asked *shows will diary entry*

when you lot are being hippys dancing and drinking is not mentioned in it

:p

now calm down mister flappy pants :p *hides*

Glasto Camp sites.

Any recomendations for Tuesday night camping?

It would be nice if there was one walking distance to Glasto Town center for beer drinking purposes the night before.

Ta :)

I'm not too optimistic for you mate, this late on.

Stig and I are camping with the mooses at the Vale of Avalon campsite just oputside Glastonbury Town, on Monday and Tuesday night. I can't seem to find information on this from a Google search. I suspect that campsite is all booked up by now (moose booked our places back in January  )

Suggest you phone the Glastonbury Tourist Information Centre

Good luck, hope to see you in the Town on Tuesday night! :)

To maintain tradition and excitement levels, can I just mention:

6 sleeps to go!

I've started to get that fluttery feeling of excitement in my stomach now ( and its definitely not the shits either).......everyone at work is bored to the back teeth of glastonbury.........can't stop talking about it... even felixthekitten is getting all twitchy with excitement......

Is it REALLY only 6 sleeps?!?

Woohoo!!!!!!!!

I've got so much stuff to do in between now and glastonbury, including the first of four of my 21st birthday celebrations (one at uni, one on the actual day at glastonbury, one with family and one with friends from home).

It's been ages since my last glastonbury. I don't know how I'm going to cope :p

Thought it sounded a bit odd... How gullible am I?

My tickets arrived this morning. Don't know why I'm posting this as it is of interest to noone but me and the people I'm going with, but I'm feeling chuffed and needed to express it somehow.

BIG COLOURED LETTERING!!!

etc., etc. ...... :)

I'm intrigued. I received my tickets last week, but today I have received an email from WayAhead / See Tickets, confirming that they have today despatched my tickets, and that they should be with me by tomorrow or Saturday. They even quote the correct order number, and give me the numbers of the tickets (but these are the same as the ones which I have already received).

So I'm guessing that either; I'm going to get another (useless?) pair of tickets or, when this second pair doesn't arrive, I can complain and get my money back (although that would obviously be morally wrong and fraudulent).

Time will tell...

Oh the smell of the toilets, the noise of the boots on the track ways, the array of incompetent musicians, the moaning neighbours, the invisible guy lines, that dickhead, the annoying twat, I'm sooo in love with you, imerse me in your filth, gypsy sex in a eurohike I salute you!

You immerse me in yours, and I'll immerse you in mine.
