William of Walworth said:Hang on -- urgent clarification needed I feel.
Last year, June 21st (Solstice day/longest day) was on the Monday.
BUT Solstice celebrations at Stonehenge in 2004 (which we went to) were on the SUNDAY night, that of the 20th, leading into dawn on the morning of the Monday.
So by analogy, this year's Solstice celebrations will be on the night of Monday 20th June, leading into dawn in the early hours of Tuesday 21st.
I fully expect that we'll spend that night (Monday night/Tuesday morning) on Glastonbruy Tor with a load of other Solstice-celbrating hippies (ie the mooses )

Any recomendations for Tuesday night camping?
It would be nice if there was one walking distance to Glasto Town center for beer drinking purposes the night before.

My tickets arrived this morning. Don't know why I'm posting this as it is of interest to noone but me and the people I'm going with, but I'm feeling chuffed and needed to express it somehow.
