Last year, June 21st (Solstice day/longest day) was on the Monday.
BUT Solstice celebrations at Stonehenge in 2004 (which we went to) were on the SUNDAY night, that of the 20th, leading into dawn on the morning of the Monday.
So by analogy, this year's Solstice celebrations will be on the night of Monday 20th June, leading into dawn in the early hours of Tuesday 21st.
I fully expect that we'll spend that night (Monday night/Tuesday morning) on Glastonbruy Tor with a load of other Solstice-celbrating hippies (ie the mooses

Stig and I are camping with the mooses at the Vale of Avalon campsite just oputside Glastonbury Town, on Monday and Tuesday night. I can't seem to find information on this from a Google search. I suspect that campsite is all booked up by now (moose booked our places back in January

I'm intrigued. I received my tickets last week, but today I have received an email from WayAhead / See Tickets, confirming that they have today despatched my tickets, and that they should be with me by tomorrow or Saturday. They even quote the correct order number, and give me the numbers of the tickets (but these are the same as the ones which I have already received).
So I'm guessing that either; I'm going to get another (useless?) pair of tickets or, when this second pair doesn't arrive, I can complain and get my money back (although that would obviously be morally wrong and fraudulent).
