Get your calculator out, a groat is worth about 4 pence and Lewis earns about 30 million UK poundsHow many groats does Lewis Hamilton earn in a year?

Just a fine for the team. No penalty for Lewis himself. Now, will Hammy get a penalty for unsafe release?
He's already on two warnings so another infraction might be a grid penalty.
Fucktonnes.Wonder what Pirelli mftbf is ?
mean furlongs time between failure
You'd think they'd have resource in depth.Getting back to F1, I wonder how Allison leaving Ferrari will effect them, you can be sure they are well underway with the development of the 2017 car and for sure he would have been the lead on that, so him leaving may well have an effect on next season as well if they don't get someone good in position PDQ
I think there will be more changes before the end of the season, but I really can't understand why they would get rid of someone with so much experience and keep others with all the changes coming, unless they really do have a deal with BrawnYou'd think they'd have resource in depth.
But the demeanour of Vettel suggested they felt let down, although they understood the situation.
With all the changes next year, it's not the time for any slips in the handover. At least whoever steps up gets half a season to get their head around all the changes.
Probably fair, since his first two reprimands were a bit trivial. It would have been a toughie to get a grid penalty.Just a fine for the team. No penalty for Lewis himself.
If double-waved means people or vehicles on the track, then it's a good idea to stop the driving altogether.I see that from now during qualifying if there are double waved yellows the session will be stopped
As I said above it goes against every drivers have learnt their whole career, it is good to see they have changed it from subjective to objective as it takes it out of the drivers handsIf double-waved means people or vehicles on the track, then it's a good idea to stop the driving altogether.
Ant Davidson made a good point when he said that as a driver you'll do the absolute minimum you can conceivably get away with to limbo dance under a penalty. So when the regs say you must be ready to stop, the drivers won't be taking any action that would let that happen.
There was report on the internal moves at Ferrari (on Sky), but Ross B wasn't mentioned.I think there will be more changes before the end of the season, but I really can't understand why they would get rid of someone with so much experience and keep others with all the changes coming, unless they really do have a deal with Brawn
Exactly. As I said above it goes against every drivers have learnt their whole career, it is good to see they have changed it from subjective to objective as it takes it out of the drivers hands
I didn't read my F1 news today, did they say anything other than Mattia Binotto has moved up temporally? There was report on the internal moves at Ferrari (on Sky), but Ross B wasn't mentioned.
Just the Binotto move. Nothing at all about Ross B.I didn't read my F1 news today, did they say anything other than Mattia Binotto has moved up temporally?
Brawn is the obvious choice but I'm not sure he wants to come back, but everyone has a price and Ferrari has the money
Yes, the Mercedes aren't the slickest off the grid, so I expect a bit of bunching and punching by the first corner.Looking forward to a great start tomorrow
