from age concern, a nice rugged gingham check shirt by scotch & soda (£2.50) and from tkmaxx a pale blue dress shirt with ruffle front detail by junk de lux (£3).

the yellow sticker sale in tkmaxx has been at the same price for about a week now... feeling a bit nervous i might miss the day everything drops to a quid. so i'll have to pop in daily to make sure.

i hear you. i love the look, but there seems to be a very small pool of labels you can choose from if you're purist... not sure if i can justify the expense of buying fred perry.

couple more this afternoon - a red & white polo by kim jones/umbro (this is really nice - £2), a white carhartt workwear t-shirt (£2) and 5 pairs of ginch gonch undies of various designs for a quid each.

back in tomorrow for the final price drop i reckon - i've my eye on a few things i've no interest in paying much for, but would be happy to part with a quid or two for.

You need to measure yourself and have a look at the size guide on the website, as they deal in old-school sizes. I'm usually a high street 12, and my VoH dress is a 16.

Also, the shop assistants in VoH are snooty cows. Great clothes though
