Your oldest article of clothing still in regular use?

I'm mourning the demise of my Church's brogues. I bought them in the clearance sale when Church shut down in Houston during the 2008 financial crisis. They were resoled a couple of times by Church's and recently, very badly, here in Brazil. The inners are falling to pieces, the new leather soles are just not flexible enough and are pulling away from the uppers...I will never be able to afford Church shoes again (they got crazy expensive since they were taken over by Prada), I only have a pair of desert boots left from the 2008 sale. :(

I have nothing from before i transitioned in 2013. And my clothes then were shit, basically, because I had to flee my partner with what i could put in one bag, then I put on a load of weight so even those clothes didn't fit me and i was rotating a few tee shirts and a couple of pairs of jeans until 2013 - which looked increasingly daft on me as i lost weight again. Then I started my new wardrobe from 2014 and with great glee, threw away all my male clothes! Not that any of it was any good. My ex threw away all my good band tee shirts in 1997 and was very controlling about what i was allowed to wear so i hated all the clothes i had from then. Then I put on weight again due to happiness and love of a good man who cooked for me and I don't really have anything going back before 2020 now. Some old stuff in a cupboard that i haven't looked at in 4 years so, must deal with that at some point.

I think a heavy black leather jacket bought 20 years ago in TK Max. The pocket lining's knackered and some of the buttons have fallen off but I still like and wear it now and then.

I started riding motorbikes when I was perhaps 17 and I bought a SIDI zip up waterproof jacket, it was made of some rubber/plastic material I don't know. Anyhow I am now 60 and recently I dug it out for use as an everyday waterproof jacket.

It squeaks when I move :) .. anyhow 43 years old my jacket!!

I have several hats bought or acquired in 1980s that I still wear regularly plus many more that were second hand / vintage even 40 yes ago, that I wear now and then.

A Tattershall waistcoat bought at Montague Jeffrey in Northampton in 1992. Got married that year wearing it and it's still in regular use. What's more remarkable than its longevity is that my OH still hasn't thrown me out.

No very old clothes in use, although I have a few things I've had since the 80s that I keep for sentimental reasons even though they're in holes or too small. However, I have several pairs of Docs in rotation that are from the 80s.
