Your daily hat and mitten news

My feet were cold today, despite woolen socks and comfy felt slippers with wool lining. Had to put a couple of those heat pads in them that are normally for painful shoulders and backs.
Is this a 'getting old' thing? I never used to get cold feet
I've never found slippers warm even the ones with wooly linings.
Maybe try 2 pairs of socks..one thin and a thick woolen pair over them. And wear boots?

I don't wear boots though. And even if I had em, they're for outside,
Normally I just wear socks or socks n trainers, so it must be my circulation deteriorating.

Got some heated gloves.

One ofvthe few bits of me that ever gets cold is my fingers so I was looking for gloves.

I got these just to try them. Thought they might be good for my mother and aunt who both have poor circulation like me.

They don't get boiling hot but the are well insulated and are pleasantly warm.

I have heated insoles for really cold days with a lot of standing around.

Wore my usual lightweight gloves on my bike and my right thumb went numb with cold, yet the rest of my fingers were nice and comfy.
(I checked the glove for holes of course)
