Have to say what a cracking jacket/coat this is for the money.

Had to be out and on a tube this morning for 6.15 and it was wonderfully toasty with just a t-shirt underneath, despite frost on the cars and the ground.

Treating myself to some proper winter gear because I currently have no oilskins that are fully waterproof and not held together with stormsure and duct tape, it's meant to be a cold winter and I'm also off to a mountainy bit of Austria in January.

Plus some fleece-lined safety wellies, and some 3/4 length work trousers because proper shooting breeks or plus twos/fours look shit and don't have enough pockets. I've been after some of these for ages and apparently the reason I couldn't find any was because they're, ridiculously, sold as "pirate trousers"

Just bought this because it's on sale and I like it. Plus, it has foxes on it. I did buy a similarly shaped tunic very cheap on sale a few years ago but didn't like the colours so much 'in the flesh', so I think I'll give that one away and replace with this.

After the unmitigated disaster of D&D pyjamas, I have bought a new set from British Boxers. The fabric is thicker and has a nice feel. My only gripe is that their size 8 equivalent is called "petite" (why do companies do this?) and I ordered my usual "small" without checking, so I look like MC Hammer and will need to swap for the right size.
