OK, with a week and a half to go I've changed my mind and bought a new dress to wear to Ziggy's Bar Mitzvah as the weather forecast has gone a bit downhill and the Joanie one I bought is too summery. Saw this Joe Browns one which was what I'd been looking for all along - a long sleeved, short hem patterned a line dress:
