It doesn't look that great in the pic but this swimming cozzie is incredibly flattering and rather than attempting to suck you in (which doesn't work at all when you are very wobbly) it just distracts from lumps and bumps with the ruching.

Also this colour really suits my pale, bluish tinged skin :D
And the 18 fits ok which I am really pleased about as I have put 1/2 a stone back on after losing 4 stone last year

Oh it is M&S by the way, they do about 4/5 different colours and range from size 8 to 22 I think.
My mum also has a size 8 navy in the post breast surgery version too

Really chuffed to have gotten these...(Birkenstock Rio)...my best friend bought them online and discovered that they didn't suit her feet. She got the narrow version. They fitted me perfectly so I bought them off her. :) They are a perfect fit on me. Sorted for summer now, if it decides to visit this year.:)

And me, are they comfy? My fly ones are back in the box. They rub so much it's like they're trying to fucking kill me. I'm now looking at sandals in the library instead of writing. [emoji106]

I find them very very comfy.....but I've always loved birkenstock footbeds and know my size. I take a half size smaller than my usual size and the narrow fitting.
My friend found them very uncomfortable....(lucky for me :D)

You'd need to try them on and also, make sure to try both the regular width and the narrow width. There's quite a difference to the placement of the footbed mound and dip thingies.

Eta. They are not heavy....at all. And I've never ever had blisters or sore feet in birkenstocks.

A pair of Craghopper Pro-Stretch Walking trousers in dark lead. I have a pair already, and they are brilliant - comfy when sans pants, a bit windproof, quick drying, not sweaty.

I thought, given that I live in them, that a second pair would be appropriate...

Oh yeah, I bought another buffalo special 6 - I had already replaced my manky old (25yo) green one with another green one for work and hillwalking, and then got complaints from Mrs Kebabking when I wore it in public and in polite society - so I bought a black one as well. This has been met with approval - or as close to approval as I get...

I keep looking at this but I couldn't decide if it would look really weird like those shirt/jumper things. I really like it.
It is a little bit odd and obvious that they're the same garment. But i love how ultra shiny the skirt bit is. I am tempted to get a size down or just tweek this to make it ever so slightly more fitted.

Maybe I'll give it a miss, my sewing has never developed past cushions and the odd bag. [emoji1]

I've ordered a GHD curling thingy. It's supposed to be good for creating loose waves in my length hair. The problem is, I'm rubbish at hair. I'm going to spend a long time practicing when I finally get my bedroom back.

I've also bought some brow stuff from benefit as I've had to accept that mine are never going to grow back as much as I want them to. They looked amazing when it was put on for me yesterday but we'll see if I can do the same.

Help me thread.
I got this dress last year

And I wore it all summer.
Loved the fit as it was really comfortable and flattering.
I want to search for something in a similar style, but I can't work out what to search for.
It's kinda triangular shaped :hmm:
It's not a shift dress, I don't think it's an A-Line.
Any suggestions on what search terms I could use?

I ordered some stuff from Eshakti ages ago and who knows when it's going to turn up  It's being sent from India and I live in Australia. According to online tracking it's gone to a Germany and England and still nowhere near Australia. Seems a bit... unnecessary

Here's what I ordered!

Just bought this tutu/bustle on etsy, plus a cheapo sparkly blue bikini on eBay to go to a silly burlesque fetish party in a few weeks with an 'Age of Aquarius' theme.

To be worn with the blue metallic converse I posted a page or two back. And a headdress with flowers and horns. Obviously.
