From the same haul as the shorts I also got: some wide leg cropped stripy trousers, a blue shirt dress and a black mesh dress with flower and diamond patches.

I've yet to try their denim apart from some strange apron-dungarees (with a daughter muttering 'but you've already got all the dungarees mum') that came up really small not that I needed them

Got the black version of the Birkenstock Rio sandals...they are so comfortable that I've been living in them and plan to for the next few months.... ☺

I've been meaning to buy one of these for ages for summer cycling since I read in "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" that you can clip two together to make a shelter.
It's slightly annoying that they're only available in camo, but hopefully it will show up at least as well as my black jacket ... £7.98 on Ebay.

Once I've confirmed that it works for me on the bike, I will order a second one and try camping overnight somewhere.

ETA... how small does it pack down to? Might be handy to have just in case

It packs away reasonably small - to the size of a small clutch bag - but it's quite heavy at 735 grams, so two of them will be getting close to the weight of a proper tent - but then hopefully you can subtract the weight of a jacket ...

I suppose I would use a lightweight polythene ground sheet, plus a foam mat...

Someone bought me some Liz Earle face thing. I think it's called hot polish cleanser. It's the fuckings dog's bollocks.

Makes your skin look/feel amazing, but an unexpected bonus is it's better than anything I've ever used for making my beard feel nice/soft.

I daren't look at the price because I know she likes expensive make up and I doubt I'd be able to justify whatever it costs once this tub runs out
