Yes, yes! Am wearing some cobalt blue ones now! (For the hamlet game). I don't have v long legs, my problem is thigh girth - and I have tried so many specialist fat bird tights (so not just XL) which go nowhere near. These are great!

They also have the three-seam construction that Evans tights do, to accommodate the arse - however, unlike my Evans tights, they don't puddle into wrinkles around my feet - so they may not be long enough for you. Worth a try for sure, and decent quality.

Actually, on closer inspection, they don't do the really thick ones (which is what I want) in my size, so I'll have to wait till I get paid and try some Pamela Mann ones.

All the owners of the clarks brogues, do you wear them without socks/tights? I'm worried about rubbing.

yes i want to knwo this too - shoe liners don't really work for me... I suppose there are knee high tights.. I want to wear them with pencil trousers which stop at around the ankle...

New boots! I went into TKMax to buy my friend a birthday present and came out with some DMs for £40! I never usually do well at TKMax but maybe having massive feet is an advantage - I doubt these would have still been there waiting for me if I was a size 6.

I wore my new Clarks brogues to work yesterday (trying to dress smarter for work) and twice sort of tripped going upstairs - i think because they're a bit long for me (although width is perfect). I felt something go in my back and now I can't hardly walk at all. So much pain. It's not bloody fair - they're the most sensible shoes on the planet and I'm still injured. I also cricked my neck on the same side over the weekend and my left foot it still dodgy and I have the start of a cold. I am pretty miserable and look like Quasimodo.

So..... I am eying up a handbag on eBay. It's half the price of a new one, has good photos so I can see condition, has a photo of that little card thing they give you to prove the bag is real..... What could go wrong? What should I be looking out for?

I'm not sure you can do much more apart from have a good look at the sellers feedback and other items. It'll be clear if they're having a sort out or are selling loads of bags/other luxury goods. I'd also see what the bag is selling for as if it's too cheap, that would make me suspicious.
If it is dodgy or not as described, eBay are really good with disputes IME. I've had to open a case for fake concealer, I got a refund and the seller was kicked off I think. Clearly I need to see the bag now. [emoji6]

Star Wars Vans for the 7 year old, reduced from £33 to £18

also a t-shirt with butterfly print all over it for 3 quid from Primark for me. And some school uniform shorts for the boys, which were unreasonably hard to find (why would anyone want to buy school uniform shorts at the start of the summer term, after all)

edit oh also this Jasper Conran jacket for the 9 year old, again heavily reduced :)

What make is it? There are some guides on eBay to spotting fakes.

I like that bag, but there are a lot of very good quality fakes of it here in China; it's one of the most copied bags online here ime. So I'd be circumspect in my purchase of it.
Yeah.... I've decided not to :(

So still looking for a leather handbag big enough to take a laptop :(

gaijingirl - just seen your shoe-related calamity :( Hope you're feeling better soon x

looking at 6-12 weeks of recovery - back for my 2nd round of physio today...

I'm gong to try and take the shoes back. I wore them for a whole day but not outdoors - they broke my heart, they can't stay.

I a pair of Clarks sandals delivered too but they're also going back.. my stupid wide feet - they are even wide fit and still don't fit.

I will go to Duo I suppose when/if I get a chance.
