Primark are pretty good for doing very large sizes too
Unless she was squeezing into kids ones.

First lot of stuff arrived, all from TK Maxx:

leopard print flat sandals - £16.99 - I love them, they're so comfy

pewter leather courts - £29.99 - really nice, just the right heel height and padded on the insole so they feel like they'll be wearable all day (I bought them for work)

Carvela snake print leather heels - £34.99 - I bought these because there was a fifty quid reduction, and they are gorgeous but realistically I won't ever wear them - a bit too high and spindly. Great quality though, the leather is v soft.

I got some cropped gym leggings and a sports bra in turquoise from Primark, a long black sheer vest and a black linen vest top from H&M. Quite excited to get something in natural fibre for so cheap as they're so good in the humid summers in China.

Considering they are brand new, they are singularly the most comfortable footwear I have ever put on my feet!

Also I'm wearing the new bra I posted the other day today and it's it's really comfy and gives a great shape

The rest of my shit arrived today.

From Gap: 'true straight' black trousers - they fit, hooray, I'm keeping them. Already covered in cat hair Also a shirt that looked lovely and drapey on the model, but looks shitter than shit on me, more gape than drape.

From H&M: black culottes - love these, nice quality, fit perfectly everywhere except the waist which cuts me in half. So I will exchange for the next size up that probably won't fit me properly. Two sleeveless cotton shirts that make me look dreadful and have massive armholes to show off maximum bra dough = return.

So out of my massive splurge, I am keeping a pair of trousers and two pairs of shoes. I still have hardly any summer stuff for work because it all looks awful on me. And I should just stop buying shirts.

Very short in the waist and I have similar dresses I've made myself that are nicer and fit better.

Unexciting and wrong shape for me.

Too small and a bit strange.

After a conversation with trashpony last week in which i explained the open wound on my foot caused by yet anoth failed attempt to find sandals that don't draw blood... I had a bit of a splurge on Clarks shoes online last night:

These are apparently as comfy as birkenstocks (according to the reviews) but have a bit of a flattering wedge:

These - because minnie mouse's shoes are yellow, thus proving a recent theory I heard that yellow shoes go with everything:

And these - which aren't actually sandals, obv - but hopefully will be comfy enough to wear without tights:

Went to clarks today but the yellow ones were too too narrow for my trotters. Top ones not present. Ended up with these.

which will likely prove too uncomfortable to wear much. Especially as I just notice while fetching the image that they are available in a wider fit, which he did not tell me in the shop. I was happy a minute ago; now I've ruined it for myself. At least they're not also on sale online.

I bought a load of tshirt and vests from h&m. 6 out of 7 of them are blue and white or black and white striped. One is navy linen. Because I have a uniform now

Some black denim shorts I will keep and some blue denim shorts I will probably not keep. Some 'boyfriend' jeans I'm not sure about which means I probably shouldn't keep them but will One top I didn't like IRL and one that barely covers my tits, I don't have the midriff for and I don't know why I bought it in the first place AND WHY AREN'T I 19 ANY MORE

Since discovering that I can get into Carhartt stuff now I've single-handedly been keeping them in business recently. Bit of a novelty for me to be able to buy stuff that isn't from High and Mighty, Jacamo or other specialist outlets called Mr Fat Bastard any more. Bought this yesterday:
