got the whole outfit, sweater, jeans everything, even including the boots for £108 !!!!!

i love online sales!! :D

I just got some shampoo/conditioner from the corner shop, it's called Enspire (?) and it was only £1.49 but it smells good.

Nah - You can try them on first.
I always end up getting mine from TopShop - tried on my size once, so can just grab them when I need them now :)

Bought some new jeans today:)

Dickies selvedge, best price in the country the fella in the shop told me. In fact he said Dickies are stopping making some sizes cause everyone else is trying to get double the price for em but not selling any.

I suspect it's sold out - they were having to hold people back when it was in my local DP a couple of weeks ago.

Good news :) I might have to got to dotty P and finally use some of my vouchers.

Someone help me... I know it probably wouldn't suit me  but where is this silver dress on their website???

http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webap...toreId=12552&categoryId=49448&langId=-1&top=Y

Their leggings are also v.good - have picked up a few pairs in there myself!

Regarding that dress: I was in DP's yesterday and didn't see it - but it was the small DP in Canary Wharf...maybe in the bigger stores they might have it? Also keep an eye on Polyvore if it gets listed as avaliable - Just did this search on there for silver / grey dresses.

Yesterday I bought:

I think I really need those irregular choice 'miaow' boots. They now have them in the most gorgeous purple but it's likely that if I can ever afford them I will go for black.

Just put 2 pairs of shoes and a dress on ebay to help my cause as they cost £100...

I think you really need those boots as well moonsi :)

I got out of work in time to have a quick look in primark and got 3 pairs of knickers, one purple frilly, one black with white skull and cross bones frilly and a pair of red gingham. also got a tweedy skirt.

and I bought dodgers some boring pants too :D

Two Bourjois eyeliners - one in black sparkly, and one in purple/blue (not as bright/tacky as it sounds, honest - goes on nice and subtle). And some coral nailvarnish for me toes.

This is nearly the end of my budget for new clothes :( and the last of my wardrobe refurbishment purchases for now ... :)
I bought:
Black and ivory striped jumper (£39 down from £79)
0109-3186-1151K00-009_01_191_204.jpg

Black wool trousers (£59 down from £119)
0109-8658-2257L00-003_01_191_204.jpg

A mystery (no photo and no idea what it looks like!) navy/multi merino wool scoop neck sweater (£5 down from £65)

Navy linen and silk trousers (£59 down from £99)

I'm pretty sure they had that dress in the Dorothy P in Croydon when I looked today. I looked at it and thought of ringing you but couldn't remember what it looked like, but I think it was that one.

I'm going to brave town next week on my day off. Cheers though :)

lovely new clothes invisible planet :)

Cheers, girls :)

You've both got great taste, so I appreciate the feedback.

They're all from Hobbs - I'm a fan of their classics and as long as I don't put on any weight in the next ten years, will probably still be wearing them!

Gorgeous trousers. I'd love to wear trousers like that but I'm only 5' 3. Great value in the sale aren't they? They'll last you ages :)

I got 2 more tunics from Bonaparte as the one that arrived last week was such nice quality.

Oh its good to know its good quality. Thanks for the link to their site btw. I like their stuff, but I can't afford to buy at the moment - I hope they do a xmas sale

I'll have a look at the navy pair (already arrived), and see if they could lose some inches. I'm 5'7" and need to wear a 2" heel with them or take them up so I can wear them with flats. Because of the way they're cut, it's unlikely to ruin their hang/appearance. The linen/silk mix feels divine against my skin, and I look amazingly good in them, but that's definitely due to the beautiful cut - they're beautifully made and worth every penny :)

Oh unfortunately I wouldn't be able to wear them now anyway, looking after my little one all week and when I do work its mental health need to be able to run after a patient be beaten up clothes. I sometimes wish that I had a job in which I could wear lovely smart clothes but I don't know when that'll be. I do get fed up with being such a scruff :(

I will bear Hobbs in mind for when I'm on the look out for the perfect black trousers though :)

I bought these from Clarks. I did have in mind a higher chunkier heal but I couldn't see any I like. I did see some on the office website but not in the shops. And then I thought these were more practical anyway and more affordable for me atm

When I was buying them a couple of student nurses (who I'd assumed were still at school) said of the shoes they were trying on, 'they're not supposed to look good, they're supposed to be comfy'. I felt really old and boring.
