I bought this dress today. I like it cos it's flowery but it also has space cadet sleeves.

I also bought a black glittery dress from hennes and a bodycon dress from New Look. Oh and black tulip skirt and grey wooly tights.

Gosh I bought rather more than I thought actually.

And I STILL NEED TO FINE THE PERFECT BROWN BOOTS. WHERE ARE YOU??!!

I like Cult stuff-bought a little dress with rabbits and horses from the one in Liverpool yesterday and Angel Eyes have a gorgeous dress with eighteeenth century style wood cuttings on-but I can't afford it:(

Oooh lovely stuff! That t shirt is ace!:D

Tell you a little thing re: bodycon dresses, they don't half make you feel like a fatso, I had to go up from my normal size in New Look cos I couldn't fit the first one over my effing wangers.

I had a bit of a spree today and got:

Sequinned top
Sequinned harem trousers
Chunky cardi
Lots of boring tights
Sparkly headband
(all Primark)

Black lambswool cardi with sequinned collar and cuffs
Cream cardi with lace front
Leopard skin platform courts

All bargains from TX Maxx - the black cardi was reduced by £100.

Plus two new eyeshadow palettes from Sleek - they're doing an ace smoky-eye limited edition one at the moment.

Did some xmas shopping at Benefit. I got 2 celebutante which is a new all in one make up thing with bronzers, highbeam etc and a big beautiful eyes kit.

Also had a minute make-over which I sorely needed...:)

2 chunky cardis , one grey, one black , 2 pairs of leggings and a black vest top, all from h+m maternity section. as i am already too fat for my normal clothes. and most of my older maternity clothing has been worn to death :D

ooo and some chunky plastic bracelets in pink and turquoised

today i went into primark to kill half an hour before my hospital appointment and ended up buying 2 pairs of tights, a grey bubblehem mini skirt, a burgandy top with sequins and beads around the neckline, and a pair of studded ankle boots

I bought clinique anti blemish clarifying lotion and the moisturising gel in Debenhams and got the free gift (last day today).

A long black cardi and big, floppy black batwing type jumper from primark along with various opaque tights (also black) and some black straight leg jeans !

and a black stretchy, tulip type dress from Dunnes which i like a lot but can't find a pic of !

decent score in tk maxx today:

a pair of proper nice lee 'works of denim' jeans (12 quid), a blue polo shirt with a skull/butterfly/daggger/rose tattoo print on the breast and back, and a white and coloured stripes rugby shirt (fiver each).

Have discovered a slight flaw with this cardigan which is the issue of wearing a coat over it. My winter coat is now the green duffle, which is only hip length and really doesn't look right over the top. Grr! It's warm enough on its own on a mild day, but it's really a cold weather cardigan.

Bought a Mountain Equipment jacket about a month or so ago. Worn it a handful of times so far. I rarely buy clothes but it was a bargain at £20 from the factory shop.

Came to put it on tonight. Mrs has been decorating and it has paint around both sleeves.

I'm absolutely fucking fuming.

This is why I don't buy hip-length winter coats. They only really work with trousers, imho.

I dispute that, I think my coat looks fine with skirts and dresses - it's just this cardigan that looks wrong hanging asymmetrically out of the bottom.

I don't like having a couple of inches of skirt coming out of the bottom of my coat, so I usually buy coats that are at least knee-length.

What sort of boots?

I got these rocket dog ones about 6 weeks ago and they are great -just under £70

I got 2 more tunics from Bonaparte as the one that arrived last week was such nice quality.

Speaking of boots and hem lengths, my Duo boots have now come but I'm really unsure about them, partly because they dig in a bit at the ankle where the leather creases, and partly because they don't seem to look right with any of my clothes except one knee length dress. They are just plain knee length flat black boots, but they don't quite go with short skirts for some reason I don't understand, and cropped trousers are not really in the shops at the mo. I'm not sure I can see the point in keeping them if I have to go out and buy a load of new knee/calf length stuff just to go with them.
