Eris: 2073rd most popular girl’s name in 2022. 13 birthsThey should give them normal names tbf - would make it more relatable.
Also 2125th most popular boy’ name. 10 births
Are you calling those 23 babies abnormal?

I've pretty well switched off from all this - starting to trust friends and family enough to be in vehicles and indoors with them - I even went in a Costa with two of them the other week ...
I'm fairly certain the NHS will have to have finally acknowledged that I'm no longer "diabetic" so it looks like there will be no autumn booster for me - which is a little concerning as I suspect my antibodies will have given up waiting by now...
On balance I'm the healthiest I've been in 20 years and I used to take annual flu in my stride when I was younger and much heavier .. quite fit, but quite likely also borderline pre-diabetic...
So perhaps I need to expose myself to infection and hope it's a small dose ?
There should be a Nigel variant, definitely.
But clearly there will be no vaccinations and they're assuming that everyone will start routinely catching the damn thing and it's been a year since I was last vaccinated so better sooner than later...I don’t think that’s a good idea. Not least because there's not really any way to ensure a 'small' dose - and no certainty that even if you get a small dose it won't lead to a major infection.
The man is an infectious pustule, tbf, so giving a covid variant his name wouldn't be too far fetched.Don't give Farage ideas.
Recommend a facemask. Elderly friend's wife has just got it for the third time.Oh goody. I'll be sharing a train with people going from Edinburgh to London tomorrow. Hurrah.
I've just had a scare. Very hoarse throat yesterday morning, plus an odd lower urinary tract situation - peeing too frequently and not proper control.
Looked up this symptom on Google, and sure enough Lower Urinary tract anomalies figure highly - the highest of all being an appeal for experimental volunteers to assist in researching this type of thing
As it happens I had a regular appointment with the GP practice health worker - so I asked her to do a covid test on meThe Effect of Covid-19 Severity on Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms Manifestations - PMC

"We don't do that now" she said
I skipped the Prom yesterday - simply didn't feel up to it, and didn't want to infect the Royal Albert Hall. Got my lodger to do a lateral flow test on me this morning - which is clear.
So - assuming I didn't have covid - can we say that viruses which give you are sore throat can also cause urinary incontinence? I think we should be told!
PS throat still sore, but urine getting back to normal. Not sure about tonight's Prom.
I would say this is linguistic obfuscation unusual for this group, which is clearly supposed to be about fear of public transport, pubs and the like. You got your lodger to do the test?
Did you mean you got your lodger to perform the test on you?I would say this is linguistic obfuscation unusual for this group, which is clearly supposed to be about fear of public transport, pubs and the like.

I'm not sure how to react to this. Should I have evicted him in 2020 in the interests of mutual biosecurity? No. You wrote that you’ve got your lodger to do the test on you. Which is frankly, out of order. If you didn’t mean that you could’ve been clearer.
That's not weird, it's out of order. Also weird was my boss both being at work while testing positive AND inviting staff to pop and see her.
Maybe your boss was like me. Last week, I told them all the barefaced lie that I’d tested positive at the weekend, purely as an excuse not to have to go in on Monday to Wednesday. But then I did have to go in on Thursday and probably had a bunch of people cursing me for returning to the office too soon. Also weird was my boss both being at work while testing positive AND inviting staff to pop and see her.

On the plus side, I had the entertainment value of a one-to-one with the CEO in which he positioned me on the opposite side of his massive office because he didn’t want to catch the disease that I’d lied about having.
He actually made that very joke. Was it a Putin like table?

It's not good to ask someone to do it for you if say you're not confident about reaching your tonsils with the spatula thing without touching your tongue or deep enough inside your nose?
Ah ok. So 'got someone else to do my test for me' actually meant 'got someone else to do my test for me'Er no. Parents do them on children. If someone is physically through disability incapable of doing their own test. Maybe get a medical professional to help them not someone that pays to live in the same house as you.
