It's always the same kind of far right person isn't it? Fresh Fred Perry t-shirt, old jeans, look like go to League Two away games but only to get through more snow than the Winter Olympics. They never look smart do they, in an intellectual way, it's always the look of someone struggling with the pub quiz machine.
How about those who wear Fred Perry t-shirts , old jeans, look like go to League Two away games and who never look smart but who don’t like the far right and what they stand for ?

Go on, fella, explain the disrespect.

They don't know. The world passes them by as the marchers did today with Respect Man

This. So much this. About almost everything. Every person I ever meet who is in anyway engaged in all this culture wars bullshit folds like a pack of cards the minute you start asking questions. Or gets violent, because they have no answers. Fuck all of them.

Probably not the thread for it, but locating far right as individuals who might be drunk/thick/in a subculture doesn't help. Would you be just as dismissive of people in Fred Perry t-shirts and the rest who were not far right?

edit - beaten to it word for word by The39thStep !

Looks like Rowley is managing to match the numbers up.

Maybe I'm just getting old, given that I normally like to see leftish protests get a bit spikier. Today thought would have been a 100% win had it stayed entirely peaceful on the PCS/Palestine side. Of course none of this will make much difference either way to the Palestinian people, but a massive and peaceful demo would have demonstrated A) public support for the cause and B) Cruella,, kieth and Sunak are a bunch of devious liars. Anyway, not that important, the turnout was the real issue.

I agree, but there have been young men with face coverings letting off fireworks and flares at every march. The police decided to go for them this time.

Note that it's not actual violence. It's a few fireworks.

Cig paper between Sunak, Cruella, kieth and Cooper:

Yvette Cooper has commented on today’s protests across London. She said:Today we have seen disgraceful scenes of far-right violence against police officers, and attempts to disrupt Armistice events, on a day when we pay our respect to all those who fought and died to protect our freedoms.
We have also seen appalling cases of antisemitic hate, intimidation, and support for terrorist groups like Hamas, which must be unequivocally condemned. She added that both violence and hate crimes must face the full force of the law.

Cig paper between Sunak, Cruella, kieth and Cooper:

Labour not only have awful politics on this, there's a complete lack of originality, parroting the same words sunak and the rest use. Something gets into their heads to stop them having an actual policy or even way of reformulating things. It's just a case of 'say the same things, don't open up any cracks with the government'. Pathetic, weak and a murderous lack of imagination.

Sometimes posts land, sometimes they don't. It's like telling a joke while in a conversation down the pub or whatever. I made a post which worked in my head, thought it would work in this thread, it didn't, I'll hold my hand up and admit it was a bit clumsy, we move on.

I have more photos of people letting off flares but faces are to recognisable so have not posted them up. Personally I think flares add a bit of colour to a march.

If you install Signal on your phone, it has a tool for auto blurring faces.

Saw a lot of these. Thought they were the Israeli hostage ones,

They arent they are exactly the same format but Palestinian children killed by Israeli bombs.

Clever bit of political messaging.

Changing the narrative is something the American Palestinian historian Rashid Khalida says the Palestinians should concentrate on. Historically Zionists have been much better at pushing their narrative. As an American he can see this first hand.

As he says war is not just fighting its the propaganda war as well. If you cannot see that then to him you don't understand war/ Conflict

Who controls the narrative.

Fighting occupation is military struggle plus fighting the Israeli/ Zionist narrative.

I think he would like this.
