A mate was in some antifa chat group which seemed to mainly be “lol they are getting kettled / fighting each other / getting turned over by the cops”.
So the "Hate" was the Fash.
Im wondering if Cruella should be sacked now for whipping this up and encouraging them
Tories like her don't realize what they are whipping up when they go for the hard right message. They think they can control it and build a political career on it.
.
A mate saw Gove get confronted by protestors at Victoria station and bundled into a cop van.
Some pretty spot on placards there. The atmosphere at demo was good. The placards are more angry.
I actually think it was good for my head to be in big group of people who think like me.
Given the appalling stuff coming from Evening Standard ( my London paper) , Tories and Starmer.

very much appreciating your pics today Gramsci ,but that Hitler one is problematic, no?The atmosphere at demo was good. The placards are more angry.

I'm starting to wonder. Arbitrary detention and murder of Palestinians was already happening. Netanyahu is openly racist. He aspires to a 'pure' Israel for Jews only. And now he's in the process of carrying out genocide against 'human animals', while members of his government advocate nuking 2 million people in hate-filled spewings. What more does he have to do before we are allowed to compare him to Hitler?very much appreciating your pics today Gramsci ,but that Hitler one is problematic, no?

The one I potentially have a problem with is the 'You can't kill a people who know death is not the end' one.
From where I am, I'd keep references to Hitler well away from comparisons to Israel. But if I was Palestinian, things would be very different.I'm starting to wonder. Sure. I wasn't questioning you taking the photo. It's the religious undertones I don't like. I've seen a few like that. They smack of 'god is on our side'.I asked that guy if it was ok to take a photo.
I now what you mean. That was one were, I cant quite put my finger on it, I wasn't that sure about.

Yeah it's martyr-adjacent. I know Palestinians use the term martyr a lot and we shouldn't read too much into it. But from my secular pov it doesn't sit quite right.Clearly factually incorrect as well as kinda chilling.
I've always thought this - South Africa yes, Hitler no. But there comes a limit. At the point where it is just openly genocide, where the term 'ethnic cleansing' is no longer adequate. I'm certainly at a point where I'm not going to criticise others for making the comparison. From where I am, I'd keep references to Hitler well away from comparisons to Israel. But if I was Palestinian, things would be very different.
Looks like Rowley is managing to match the numbers up. View attachment 399648
Maybe I'm just getting old, given that I normally like to see leftish protests get a bit spikier. Today thought would have been a 100% win had it stayed entirely peaceful on the PCS/Palestine side. Of course none of this will make much difference either way to the Palestinian people, but a massive and peaceful demo would have demonstrated A) public support for the cause and B) Cruella,, kieth and Sunak are a bunch of devious liars. Anyway, not that important, the turnout was the real issue.

Though not quite as worrying as doctors calling for the bombing of hospitals.
I know and I'm not actually sure I agree with my own post anymore! I thought they'd all got arrested, whereas they were merely kettled I think.you can say that again
No, it wasn't a placard. You have a pic of that placard?
That would be good, let's hope.I know and I'm not actually sure I agree with my own post anymore! I thought they'd all got arrested, whereas they were merely kettled I think.
No, it wasn't a placard.
I was just going to say, there is some fun in seeing the guys around the Cenotaph and their supporters online complaining about kettling and antagonistic police and the like being the cause of the violence and unrest.A mate was in some antifa chat group which seemed to mainly be “lol they are getting kettled / fighting each other / getting turned over by the cops”.
The protester's tools will never counter the protestersGot to laugh at the whole "counter protestors" thing. Don't think I saw a single placard or banner in any footage of those cunts.
