Nothing to connect her to the protest apart from her mentioning 'Free Palestine' which is an entirely reasonable view, but doesn't actually connect her to the protest.

Is that what ordinary punters are going to see though? When there's a lot of powerful people trying very hard to find a pretext to conflate Palestinian rights with antisemitism? Downplaying this kind of shit doesn't help anyone. It's unacceptable wherever it happened and for whatever motivation.

Earlier today at Westminster Magistrates' Court, Ian Beim, 57, of The Crescent in Surbiton, and Kevin Sweeney, 61, of Upper Farm Road in West Molesey, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated public order offences against members of the public at Waterloo station on 11 November 2023. The court was told that the men were heard shouting abuse and were recorded on phones belonging to several of the members of the public.

Kevin Sweeney approached one man taking a video and said 'Yeah, you terrorist c***', to which Ian Beim added 'Yeah, go on, keep going'.

They then boarded a train where they continued to use abusive language towards members of the public, including calling them "terrorists" and "bombers"

Kevin Sweeney and Ian Beim have been granted unconditional bail until they return to Westminster Magistrates' Court on 15 January 2024 for sentencing.

I'm quite looking forwards to hearing the mitigation. In these cases it usually involves in excess of 12 pints of lager, spectacular periods of wakefulness, family and work stress, and a lifetime dedicated to their local community.
Throw in unverified accounts of them being shouted at themselves, were feeling scared, someone else was assaulted etc.

I hope their lawyers call Braverman and Laurence Taylor to testify in their defence.

While this individual (in the middle of the photograph) remains at liberty, the police are reportedly 'hunting' for a 36 year-old woman for for carrying a homemade placard with photographs of coconuts on it "in relation to a hate crime".

The "hunt" is over - she has been found:

"Media are reminded that proceedings are now active and nothing should be reported that could risk prejudicing those proceedings"

HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services have criticised former prime minister Rishi Sunak and his home secretary Suella Braverman in an official report for wrongly lambasting the Metropolitan Police’s handling of pro-Palestinian protests:

Suella Braverman criticised over ‘pro-Palestinian mob’ comments in report she ordered herself

Hooray! :)

Rajiv Menon KC, defending, said:

'This prosecution of Ms Hussain is ... a disturbing attack on the right of freedom of expression; the right to peaceful protest that did not risk in any shape or form violence or public disorder; the right to anti-racists to criticise members of their own race for pursuing racist policies and using racist rhetoric; the right to satirise our politicians; the right to mock and tease and make fun of our politicians in a light-hearted way that Marieha Hussain attempted to do with her placard.

'That Marieha Hussain of all people is being prosecuted for a racially aggravated offence whilst the likes of Suella Braverman and Nigel Farage and Stephen Yaxley-Lennon - aka Tommy Robinson - and Frank Hester are seemingly free to make inflammatory and divisive statements ... is, I'm afraid, incomprehensible to many people.'
