While this individual (in the middle of the photograph) remains at liberty, the police are reportedly 'hunting' for a 36 year-old woman for for carrying a homemade placard with photographs of coconuts on it "in relation to a hate crime".

Coconuts.

Pages and pages, post after post, about the football geezers and convoluted discussions about what constitutes anti-semitism, anti-Zionism and racism, but (unless I've missed it) the woman who shouted 'Death to all Jews' and was pictured in the same BTP press release doesn't even get a mention here.

Hamas has refused to hold further elections, says Tatchell. I think it is the Palestinian Authority that is refusing that.

Did you post it up? If you did I must have missed it . Sounds totally inexcusable.

So why have you not mentioned her before now?
Does her action not bother you?

the 2 fella dress up as hamas have been shown here, the coconut women, the nazi star of david women and a few others

not every hooligan has been shown on here so not surprising some on the other side were missed as well

the full view has 2 cunts in it one being Islamophobic to a guy of women then the arsehole walking thru making the "kill a jews" remark

hopefully both are caught and prosecuted

Agree with this, but apparently Peter Tatchell was prevented from joining the march because he had an anti-Hamas placard. (Well he claimed this anyway.)
I was curious about this, and did a bit of digging - of course it's all bloody twitter stuff. Tatchell's claim is here:
Stop The War stewards blocked my way at the start of Palestine march today. They objected to my placard? Said I was "a troublemaker". "We are here to stop you," they said. "We know what you did at the Ukraine march." I supported arming Ukraine.

Which is disputed by someone claiming to have seen him on the march, quite near the main StW banner.

Video is here.
Obv if there was any attempt to stop Tatchell joining the march then that's unjustified and shit, otoh if Tatchell was able to join the march and is misrepresenting what happened that's also not great. Is possible for both things to be true, that a steward gave him a bit of lip and also he was then able to join the march after, but if that's the case then Tatchell's post doesn't do a great job of making it clear.

Not a big fan of Tatchell but the words "Stop The War stewards blocked my way at the start of Palestine march today" don't necessarily imply they prevented him from taking part, merely that they stood in front of him to speak to him. FWIW I don't myself read it as him claiming he was prevented from joining the march but that there was an attempt to do so.

Wasn't aware that it was my responsibility to immediately post here every time I hear of an anti-semitic incident. It was widely reported in the mainstream media.

Being Jewish, I suppose her actions do bother me. Drop in the ocean, though, really isn't it.

So why do think it is the responsibiliity of other people to mention this incident, then?

Bonkers video circulating of a young woman violently abusing people on the bus after the march because they were eating mcdonalds and discussing french fries (apparently that was the context). 'Are you a Jew?' Dignified response tbf. I do enjoy a macca's I have to say, but as far as I know don't have any Jewish blood.

So, in your opinion, in 2023 should the state of Israel exist?

'i don't know whether to be glad or sorry that you seem to be so enthusiastic a nationalist. i am altogether passive in this matter although i give full credit for your activity, as i do to all others engaged in doing something towards helping a distressed nation...
the idea of palestine or any other territory for the jews is, for me, ridiculous.
racial persecution does not exist because some nations have no territories but because nations exist at all.'

morris meyerson to his future wife, golda mabovich, bout 1916.

both were committed socialists, but while mabovich (who later became known as golda meir), was a zionist, meyerson described himself as a cosmopolitan-universalist jew.

or, for a more modern take on it:

Of course any incidents of antisemitism should be reported on and dealt with. Sometimes, though, because of their awful frequency, they get missed out.

Even here.

There’s also been some anti-Semitic graffiti reported recently in your neck of the woods hasn’t there :(

Sorry mate but a brief web search of 'kill all Jews UK' only brings up a report of what you describe from The Sun (of all places, which I doubt many here read) that you described as 'widely reported'. I don't think it's fair criticism when it clearly hadn't been widely reported.

I'm planning to join the Na'amod / Jews for Justice for Palestine rally on Sunday pm, as I can attend and I like that they are coming forward with a concrete suggestion for hostage exchange/ end to hostilities that keeps both hostage and Palestinian wellbeing at the forefront.

These isolated racist dickheads from both sides are not the story here. We do well to remember that imo. The story is the 800,000 people who marched peacefully and without hate for a ceasefire.

There's a danger of falling for the old police trap of defining an event by the number of people they arrested on the day.

I do feel angry that it was harder to arrest anyone spreading Jew hatred at the march because they had to deal with Tommy's gammon crèche.

Has the incident involving an apparently disturbed young woman making a nuisance of herself on a 214 bus in Kentish Town by asking two Jewish City lawyers whether they are Jewish (and asking others about their dietary habits) been confirmed as having any connection to the protest on 11 November 2023?

'Apparently disturbed' is being a bit too kind. She's a highly aggressive antisemite.

How do you know the people are City lawyers? Unless I've missed something that's not apparent from the video.

Nothing to connect her to the protest apart from her mentioning 'Free Palestine' which is an entirely reasonable view, but doesn't actually connect her to the protest.
