90s techno thread

Really enjoying listening to this, suiting my mood- 90s unreleased tracks from Gerd. Cant say I know who Gerd is, dont really know all that much about techno tbh, but this is great home listening - a little moody, a little uplifting, nothing too glitchy or attacking, really like it - with my limited range the closest thing i can compare it too is Aphex Twin's ambient works vol 1, though a little more reserved than that.

All on bandcamp and youtube. Particularly Alien DNA is a tune as is Brave New World...all works very well as a mini album in order

"Re-issue of Gerd's 1994 classic Easin' In The S-sytem. Package includes 4 previously unreleased tracks found on old DAT tapes as well as a couple of previously unreleased (bonus) versions of the track Easin' In The S-System. Pls note last 3 tracks are digital bonus trax not appearing on the 12 inch vinyl release. "

Can I throw this up.

I'm on an aceeeeed vibe this week.

Tune! This, Joey Beltram's Joeys Riot, and Kerry Chandler's Get it Off the first 3 techno records i ever heard from vinyl as my mate had them - listened to them all over and over. Oh and Adam X Listen <all 1990

Must be the season for digging through your old DATs - I've just received a gig and a half of unreleased early 90s rave bangers from a mate...

This is the only thing in there that's made it onto wax (not 90s techno, but I'm not sure where else it would go right now - do we have a bleep & bass thread?) - some quite solid productions in there though, gonna see about getting some of them out there.

This is my Gerd fave. I'm fairly certain he's Dutch, which matches with the label. This could also have been on the Detroit techno thread, it's so Detroit sounding....

Gerd Van Bjil I think. He’s done loads of stuff since the 90s. Dutch techno was on fire then

Is that really from 2018 or a reissue?

Great label Royal Oak, I've got a couple of really nice tracks from them

The proud boys shit

Yes, thought so- I tune ID'ed it the other day on FB & thought do I want to promote it? My initial reaction was that it was known to me mainly through the DJ Bone mix & I went on the angle of trying to promote the mix rather than FDV. I don't justify right wing bollox.

I think all the Frame Of Mind stuff is reissues
I've just been digging through their bandcamp. Yes, it's all reissues (with some unreleased stuff) and it's a fucking treasure trove of great old techno.

I know this one from one of those old New Electronica comps:

Kumulus - Cloud Chaser (String Mix)

but I've not heard these before:

It's Thinking - Love Without Sound <- the whole EP this is from is great

Hi-Ryze - Cyberia (Lo Pass Mix) <- this is making me shake my arse

I bought the Hi-Ryze one , maybe last year? or year before? There were 2 or 3 mixes if I remember correctly, but that was the best.
