90s house

I keep on thinking of loads of great US vocal house numbers but they seem to always be 2000 when I check so I can't post them - must've been a great year

Since theres already been two 95 North tunes posted heres one more for good measure

That video appears to feature the worst party ever :(

So lifeless, so joyless. I thought there might be a twist at the end where they go through a door and find a proper party happening or something, but no. I'd have been out of there almost as soon as I walked in.

big US mid 90s vocal garagesque funky bomb - i guess to some ears this might be cheesey - fine line at times but for me this is not just the right side of it but perfection
The dub a massive early UKG scene powerplay

"90s House" too broad a category really but whatevs

having been a big garage head, I don't think I'd ever heard the original house mix... garage version was a whopper as you say.

The track I'd most like to post isn't anywhere on youtube
I feel your pain.

I was going to post Shaboom - I'll Never Let You Down (Shaboom Dub), but it's nowhere to be found on the internet besides a brief clip on Beatport. The original mix is about, but that's a weak arsed vocal house cut, not the monster dub that took my head off when Spoof Soundsystem played it in a squatted swimming pool in Sheffield in 97? 98?.

Some more love for DiY...

Strictly4Groovers was the first house label I started buying on sight.

They had groovers:

Big C - The Dawn (Digs, Woosh & Mr Ski Golden Section Mix)

They had silky smooth tunes to caress a drug addled brain while keeping your hips moving:

Essa - Love In Latin

and they had mind twisters:

Most importantly, the parties were great.
